We are a small group of registered psychologists, who provide assessment and therapy for adults and couples. We see clients from Burlington, Hamilton, Oakville, Mississauga, Milton, and surrounding areas. Evidence-based therapies are therapies that have been proven to be successful. At Dr. Scapinello & Assoicates, we combine elements from different evidence-based therapies to best suit each client's unique personality and problem(s).

Services
The first session for all clients is a psychological assessment. The purpose of the assessment is to get to know you and to determine your treatment needs. During the assessment, your psychologist will ask you a variety of questions about your presenting problem(s), your background history, and your current situation.
Dr. Scapinello is a registered clinical psychologist, who works with adults and couples. She completed a Ph. D. and an M.A. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Windsor and a Specialized Honours B.Sc. in Psychology at the University of Guelph. She has a special interest in treating people with mood and anxiety disorders.
Our fees are consistent with the guidelines set out by the Ontario Psychological Association (OPA). Our fees are wholly or partially covered by most extended health care insurance plans. Fees that are not covered can be claimed as medical expenses on your personal tax return. In certain situations, our fees may also be covered by auto insurance, disability insurance, or workplace insurance.
