Dr. Storrie is a registered Psychologist in the province of Ontario, with specializations in the practice of clinical psychology, clinical neuropsychology, and rehabilitation psychology. She received her Honours B.A. in Psychology from Brock University, and her Masters and Doctoral degrees in Biological Psychology at the University of Waterloo.
At the SVA Concussion Clinic we provide multidisciplinary assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of concussion/mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) and post-concussive syndrome in children, teens, adults and seniors. We offer ImPACT baseline and post-injury assessment, and Return-to-Play and Return-to-School recommendations for athletes.
At the SVA Healthy Aging and Dementia Clinic we provide psychological and neuropsychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of conditions associated with aging. For example, we perform dementia screening to allow us to discriminate between the effects of the normal aging process and conditions that could indicate disease.
At the SVA Child & Teen Clinic, we offer services to children and adolescents who struggle with neurological, cognitive, behavioural, emotional, and educational and academic problems. We also offer support to parents of these children and teens. Our specialized services include psychological, psychoeducational and neuropsychological assessment, as well as psychological treatment and neurorehabilitation.
Storrie, Velikonja and Associates provides assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services that are client-centred, evidence-based, and outcome-oriented in our full-service practice and three multidisciplinary specialty clinics located in Burlington. I've had a lot of experience with therapists, psychologists, etc. Dr. B Deryck is by far one of the best, if not the best psychologists I've been to. She listens, provides great advice in a way that i can totally understand. I'm very grateful for the assistance I've recieved here. Reception staff, hazel and victoria, are super friendly and always a pleasure to speak to.
