South Island is an independently owned and operated full-service property management company that has been serving Vancouver Island from Sooke to Sidney since 2015. Big or small we service them all, from our current range of 3 units to over 100 units. We take the stress out of owning your property and make it easier for you to protect your investment, whether you're an owner in a strata corporation or have a rental property.

Managing Broker Robert Pearson oversaw the property management department for 30 years at Boorman Investment Co Ltd before purchasing the property management section and renaming the company in 2015. South Island Property Management recognizes that the selection of a property management company is a very important decision.
The management of real estate is a complex and demanding business. It requires a thorough understanding of the ever-changing marketplace, accounts and collections, contracts and laws, and the maintenance and repairs of property. Perhaps most important of all, it is a people business. In today's demanding society of 'hurry and go', instant information at your fingertips, and the convenience of having shopping delivered to your door in two days or less, it can be hard to balance work, life, and your strata. Sometimes you just need the peace of mind of knowing someone is handling it, and is there to help you, day or night.
Many small strata corporations may not want to increase fees extensively to pay for full management or may not require full service management but find it necessary to engage someone to keep the accounts of the strata corporation. We do offer accounting-only services for several smaller strata corporations.
In some cases, Strata Corporations may not utilize either our accounting only services or our full management. We do provide consulting services for councils on a variety of Strata Corporation issues, predominantly as they may relate to the operations of the Strata Corporation. Where we believe that legal or other professional advice is required, we will refer clients to these other professionals.

If you’re looking for an overpriced management company that will sit idly by as strata council violates people’s rights then look no further! Such poor service. Its pretty pathetic when they agree with you that the strata council made a mistake and just let them do it anyways even when it violates the strata property act! Sound right to you? Ya I dont think so either, I’m willing to take this comment down if you make it right and do your job by upholding the strata property act, Otherwise it’s here to stay. Absolutely appalled!

Terrible management, storage lockers were broken into at my building and all that has been done is an email sent from Jane Noel the next day saying "if your stuff has been moved to the floor it is a fire hazard and needs to be moved back into your locker." Completely unprofessional and unsympathetic.

This company is the worst and has no regard for its customers or employees.
I was looking for a new career and replied to an add on Indeed.
I was asked to come into the office and have and interview with Mr Pierre Blondeau and Ann Blondeau. The interview went great and not more than 45 minutes later I was offered the position as Hospitality Coordinator at an independent living heritage house in James Bay. I did my training and was asked to come into work on September 10. I showed up only to be told that they could only offer me two days a week and my employment would be short lived.
I left my
