Medicentres Canada: where family physicians and specialists come together to bring comprehensive, accessible, and quality health care services to everyone. Montreal-based ELNA Medical, a leading Quebec provider of healthcare services, announced today that it has completed the acquisition of Medicentres Canada, the largest chain of corporately owned medical clinics in the country.
As part of the transaction, the 38 Medicentres clinics will be integrated into the ELNA Medical network. Over three decades ago, two Edmonton physicians had the vision to bring accessible health care to Albertans on a non-appointment, extended hour basis. Making that vision a reality, in 1979 they established Medicentres, which is now the largest group of medical clinics in Western Canada.

The Canadian Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Foundation estimates that approximately 25% of Canadians have allergic rhinitis (also referred to as "hay fever"). This chronic condition can cause asthma and other respiratory complications and severely lower a sufferer's quality of life. Billions of dollars are spent every year on over-the- counter allergy medications that don't provide lasting relief.

Cheating with a line of people! Was 4th in the line, and I’m understanding that patients who took the numbers, they are all walk in. Everyone who was in front of me and many who was after me already seen the doctor and gone home... receptionist told me they was by appointment- lie!!! By appointment no need to take the number...

First time user-Very positive experience. The doc I had was very kind, patient and polite. Clinic was clean and wait time was short (Friday afternoon). Was able to determine wait time by checking online, so that was helpful. Waiting room large, clean and comfortable. The one receptionist (nurse? Not sure) didn't seem the friendliest. There's a number system to sign in that I wasn't aware of. The doctors room was freshly sanitized and doctor was clean professional and took the time to make sure she understood my problem. I will definitely be back and will recommend it as a great

AVOID AVOID AVOID! This is the MediCentre, located inside Rexal Drugs on Baseline road. THEY ARE HORRIBLE. Unless you are there when they open at 9am, they will refuse you, stating that they have too many patients (even though the waiting room is empty) and they always close early. They refuse to use the fast track program that the centres are suppose to use, and they have no bedside manner. The nurses & receptionist are EXTREMELY rude, and will tell you to go to the ER just so they don't have to deal with you. They have no empathy for their patients and don't care how sick you or
