Modern Angels understands the importance of Attendant Care. Modern Angels realizes that maintaining a sense of independence at home is highly important to the elderly. We also understand that sometimes, they just need a helping hand or some light assistance in day-to-day life. We also recognize that clients with chronic or terminal illness prefer to be at home over a hospital facility, which is why we offer many levels of private care.
We educate our staff on the importance of the Glasgow Coma Scale when assessing clients so they can provide knowledgeable care with empathy and understanding. Realizing that clients may display at-risk behaviours, our staff are equipped to deal with this behaviour due to their expertise in Crisis Prevention Intervention.
It care be terrifying and stressful to imagine a loved one losing one of the things most important to them, their memories. As scary as Dementia is, it's a possibility that caregivers should consider. It is estimated that 25 percent of caregivers for adults over the age of 50 are providing care for an individual suffering from a cognitive impairment or dementia.
Clients with spinal cord injury suffer from disruption in their daily functioning. From ruptured disks to paraplegia and quadriplegia, we understand and address the client's specific needs associated with their injury through highly-detailed care. We assist in day-to-day life and work with the client in restoring independence.

My grandmother was discharged from the hospital and moved to a home where it was only partial assisted living. We needed someone to cover hours that the retirement residence could not help us with. Someone had recommended Modern Angels, and they definitely do not disappoint. They are still actively helping us and their support staff are very caring, respectful and diligent.

My grandpa utilized this service after getting discharged. The PSW would come to my house and take great care of my grandpa. They were very nice and we would call the admin staff whenever we had to change dates and they were very quick to respond and would help right away! Highly recommend to anyone who is in need of PSW care
