Terry Roper was introduced to the heating and cooling industry at a young age. As a child, he spent summers assisting his dad and his crew on site, fetching tools and cleaning. In high school, he continued his learning as a member of the team and receiving his license as a Gas Technician. After high school, Terry pursued diverse work experience as an apprentice for refrigeration, a salesman and an operation manager.
Using his collective knowledge and experience, Terry decided to return to his roots. We had our fireplace cleaned by HH and although there were some technical issues with our service beyond anyone's control (parts breaking unexpectedly & then not avail), the ultimate result is great and was generously comped by the company due to all the delays. Our fireplace previously had a flame about the size of a candle and now it's burning very well, which has been wonderful this very cold past month. They were even able to get a replacement screen for our ripped one! Very pleased 😀

Terry was such a pleasure to work with. The heater/air exchanger/HRV machine in my home daycare portable was blowing cold air and an outside damper was stuck open. Outdoor temps were -24 today and the indoor temperature was about -10! Since this was previously a school classroom we didn’t have full access to the thermostat controls, just occupied heat at 20C and unoccupied heat at 13C. Terry spent 3 hours with freezing cold hands before he could finally get it sorted out. He showed up early, never complained, and even changed our thermostat to give us access to the controls. Terry and his team went way beyond to help me out in fixing our furnace so that my family doesn't have to sleep in cold night without heat, even if that meant some extra time for them. Amazing service, friendly, quick and informative. The first few weeks of living in our first home and the tankless hot water and furnace stopped working within a couple days of each other. Our house was previously heated by geothermal. There was a leak in our bed and we weren't getting any heat. Other companies were 1 week out just from coming out to look and 2-3 more weeks out from a possible system swap out. Headwaters had a tech out the same day and then had techs back out within a week installing a new furnace! Outstanding and professional service. Highly recommended!
