Services
Shining Wonders Montessori Preschool and Childcare was first established in 2003 in Tuscany. In 2008 Shining Wonders moved to a new 2000 square foot location, also in Tuscany, with a capacity of 30 children, and offers children bright, well maintained classrooms and play areas. In 2011 Shining Wonders became a provincially licensed childcare facility, the first such licensed childcare facility in the community of Tuscany.
Our preschool curriculum is based on the Montessori and Regio methods, allowing a child to gain cognitive, sensorial, social-emotional and physical skills. Children in our Kindergarten program learn advanced reading with language, grammar and basic mathematics. Following our program, children are well prepared for Grade 1.
Our philosophy is based on our belief that a positive self image displayed as an adult is largely attributed to the care, attention and creative stimulation received as a child. Our center hopes to provide a solid foundation for a child's development, by addressing their physical, social, emotional, intellectual and creative needs within an educational and play based environment.
The Montessori classroom is a child's world, tiered to the size, pace and interests of boys and girls between the ages of three and six. It is designed to put the child at ease by giving her freedom in an environment prepared with attractive materials arranged on low shelves, within easy reach of even the smallest youngster.
At the tour, we will walk you through the entire facility and answer any questions you may have. We will also provide you with all documents necessary for registration. Both parents and the child should attend the tour. It is important for your child to attend in order to see how comfortable he/she may be at Shining Wonders.

We can’t express our gratitude towards all Shining Wonders staff in just few words. It’s just that they have helped us out in getting our son to excel and in learning necessary qualities.

My daughter has been attending since age 3 (now age 6) and it is amazing how much she has learned academically since she's been here. Her math skills are currently at a grade 2-3 level and her reading and writing are at about a grade 2 level. She's made many friends here and I feel that thanks to everything she's learned here, she is going to be well prepared to start grade 1 in the fall.

There are not enough kindly words that can pay back the Great job Shinning Wonders Montessori did on my son's life. He is one before and after attending to this daycare. He used to be a hyper and a wild boy ;). He is such a good listener and a gentleman now... Thanks a bunch to the Principal and every single teacher did part of this amazing process. I tryly recommend this school .

This is excellent childcare and early childhood education facility. Both our children attended Shining Wonders and they benefited enormously. By the time my kids reach kindergarten age, they both were fluent in reading, writing, and numeracy. Mrs. Yatawara and the staff are very caring and experienced. The facility is well maintained and the front lawn is very eye catchy! We do not hesitate to recommend Shining Wonders to anyone who is looking for childcare services.

Our daughter has attended Shining Wonders for the last two years (from ages 3-5). She will now be entering Kindergarten in the fall with a well cultivated love of learning, positive social skills, as well as advanced reading, writing and mathematic skills because of her time spent in Shining Wonders Montessori Preschool.
The staff are welcoming and loving everyday when I would drop my daughter off. I felt confident knowing she would be safe and cared for in their hands. The school provides a well rounded curriculum that includes daily outside play time, growing a garden of vegetables in the backyard

We have had two children go to this day care/learning center, both had great experiences. They were advanced in the reading, math and writing. My daughter is currently attending the full day Kindergarten program there and is working at grade 2 math and reading levels. Mrs. Yatawara works daily with the children on these skills. The teachers all take pride in providing a caring atmosphere for the children.

We have sent both of our sons to Shining Wonders and it has been a wonderful experience. The entire staff, including the headmaster, absolutely loves children and are so warm and friendly. In addition, the love of learning that they are able to instill in our children has been fabulous. Our son is reading and he has not yet entered kindergarten. Overall, a very positive experience and I would recommend it to any parent!

We have had 2 children in Shining Wonders from ages 2 through 6 and it has been absolutely fantastic. The kids learn lots and have fun. The effort and care Mrs. Yatawara and all the staff put into caring for the kids is second to none. It has been a great environment for our kids to learn and grow in.

We are very impressed with Shining Wonders. We sent our first daughter and due to the high standards in learning and extra curricular activities, our first daughter significantly benefited from this program.
