Creative Child Learning Centre opened its doors to the community of Amherstburg in Spring of 1999. Today, we operate two facilities as a non-profit organization offering full time, part time, before and after school care to over 150 families. We are committed in providing children with a wealth of opportunities which promots exploration, discovery and self-regulation through emergent curriculum.
We encourage children to be active learners who explore the world through their body and mind. In our Infant Room our children are greeted daily with nurturing teachers in an environment that enriches the development of each child. The routine in the infant room is less structured and geared to the individual child.
We believe at the Creative Child Learning Centre that all children are competent, capable, curious and rich in potential. How does learning happen? They learn and thrive best when their interests are captured. Therefore, we look to each child to guide us in their learning. Their curiosity and ideas become key components in our everyday curriculum.
