Behavioural Health Care
Behavioural Health Care was established in 1997, a joint venture between Dr. Wesley Buch and Dr. Owen Garrett. In 2002, Dr. Bannerman became a third partner. Dr. Garrett left to pursue other endeavors in 2005. Drs. Buch and Bannerman have run Behavioural Health Care, sharing in the administration, as well as providing clinical services, since that time.

We aim to provide best practice service in a cost-effective and timely manner. Several psychologists have provided services to Behavioural Health Care over the years. In selecting treatment providers, we strive to ensure that individuals not only have a high level of clinical skill, but also operate with similar goals and treatment philosophies.
Services
Behavioural Health Care is dedicated to excellence and innovation in psychological rehabilitation services. Working with you, our psychologists create solutions to motivate and move people forward into a healthy, productive life. Since 1997 Behavioural Health Care has developed resources, expertise, and skills to successfully resolve complex rehabilitation problems.
Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is our primary treatment modality at Behavioural Health Care. CBT is a short-term, focused psychological treatment for a wide range of psychological problems. The focus of CBT treatment is on both your thinking ("cognitions") and behavior. The assumption of CBT is that changes in your thinking and behaviour will lead to changes in your feelings.

She made me believe that the pain was solely psychological. If I had listened to her I would not have received the medical treatment that I needed. She made me feel like there was nothing I can do for my condition and seemed surprised when a medical doctor told me otherwise. She needs to understand that she is
