We are celebrating our 29th year teaching dancers in the Clarkson-Lorne Park area specializing in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Contemporary, Pointe, Hip Hop, Acro, Modern, Irish and Musical Theatre. We also teach Pilates, Jazz Funk and Tap to adults. Can Dance Academy's philosophy is that every dancer should lead a balanced life.
Dance is only a portion of their needs and wants and should leave room for other hobbies and school. Our intensive program runs for students who dance once a week or more. Each and every child and dancer is special as well as learning at their own level. Competition is a pleasure and an opportunity to get better.

Services
Can Dance Academy does not charge a registration fee. A new window will open with our secure online registration system. You can also select additional classes, and add additional children. You must provide credit card information with your registration, but monthly payments will not start until September and continue until May.

We are so grateful to have found this amazing studio! Our daughter was in a few different dance schools where the focus was NOT on fun and the experience of dance was not a good one. Abby LOVES coming to class and leaves with a big smile. The teachers are amazing. We are so happy with our experience and would highly recommend!

Lori is very confrontational, condescending and has NO people skills. During our brief time at this studio, I experienced several micro and macro aggressions. For the sake of brevity I won’t detail each one. But I can tell you calling my child a clown (when she laughed loudly at something), telling a 3 year old “no coughing” when she coughed under her masked after running around for a a full song (and likely needed water and was definitely not sick) is inappropriate. The laststraw was rudely interrupting me with “CUT THE CAMERA!!” to lecture me on the vaccination rules

Recital tickets are way overpriced for such a small theatre, communication is poor, click and click and click that to find this or that info from the email. Studio is way too crowded, my daugher's jazz teacher is horrible. Mean and arrogant, Pushing my daughter to overstretch and dance so she ends up hurting her muscles and in much pain and couldn't dance or to do other sports activity. Director failed to do anything. And also bad luck, there is a trouble student in my daughter's class, either no show or disturbing the class, will never come back to this studio again!!
