Services
We provide fun and educational classes for all ages and levels. Whether your child is 2 or 18, beginner or advanced, each child will be given the attention and proper instruction to make their experience at ANNEX the best possible one. We provide a nurturing environment that offers fun yet challenging lessons for each class.
Annex is a home away from home where a child is nurtured in the art of dance. What more could parents want than for their children to be taught with care and great thought to technique. We believe in giving our youngest students the opportunity to experience many different genres of dance in one lesson.
This is a creative movement and improvisational class focusing on the joy of movement and music. Children learn with positive encouragement, with props like scarves and tambourines while dancing, singing and exploring the art of dance. Musicality is learned through counting and clapping fun rhythms.
This class is the perfect way to introduce your little one to dance because we offer the basics in Jazz, Ballet, Acrobatics and Hip Hop techniques all wrapped up in fun exercises focused on inspiring imagination, improvisations, and using props like tambourines " ribbons " scarves and more. Musicality is learned through counting and clapping fun rhythms and incorporating the basics of soft shoe tap dance (special shoes not required).

When I was deciding on a recreational dance school for my young daughters over 4 years ago, it was a tough decision since there were many schools to choose from. After visiting several dance studios, I decided on the Annex for a few reasons: the studio offers good recreational and competitive programs, it has a family-like environment and dance classes that could be openly observed by parents. I have 2 daughters that dance here and I consider this studio a second family for my kids. I have referred a number of families to the studio over the years and their kids have also really enjoyed either part time or competitive dance experiences. We have developed deep relationships with both the studio directors, and many of their dance instructors. They have always gone out of their way to be special mentors, and great coaches with my children. Annex has been a second home for my two daughters. The staff at Annex are more than just dance teachers. They have cared and nurtured my children and many other children. They pour love into each and every child and they help each child be the best they can be. What I love most about this studio is that it's like a family!
