Our studio is conveniently located at 16945 Leslie Street Unit #10 in Newmarket, ON L3Y 9A2 - On the east side of Leslie, just north of Mulock Dr. minutes away from the Hwy 404 and Mulock exit. We also have 2 bathrooms, an office and TV Monitors to view all 3 dance studios. Studio owners and sisters, Rhonda Dimma and Jenny Cairney are committed to bringing fun, creativity and lasting memories to every class taught at their studio. Although iDance opened in 2009, the sister's passion, love and training began over 35 years ago. The girls grew up immersed in the dance scene and are thrilled to share their joy of dance with others.
This Program is for young dancers ages 6+ who want to train to the next level and want a taste of the Competitive environment. This full year program focuses on jazz & ballet training with sprinkling of other disciplines and gives dancers the opportunity to perform at recital and competitions. With Jazz & Ballet as the minimum, dancers are trained at an accelerated level and compete throughout the Spring.
Our recreational dance classes give children an opportunity to be creative, active and have FUN! Each class runs once a week and is taught by qualified instructors. In class, students focus on learning technique through centre exercises, combinations and across the floor, .
After developing an understanding of proper dance technique & steps, students work on a routine which they perform in the showcase (December for Fall Term) or recital (May for Winter/Spring Term).Classes of younger ages (9 and under) typically have 1-2 additional supporting teachers to the Lead teacher who are trained as Teacher's Assistants.

The Petite Novice Competitive Program is available to aged aged 6+ looking to train to the next level and get a taste of the Competitive dance environment. These dancers will train for 45 minutes on Tuesdays and 1.5 hours on Saturdays focusing on Jazz & Ballet but will also expose the dancers to other disciplines.
The team participates in 3-4 Regional dance competitions March to May, with an optional Finals in early July. We also take CDTA Jazz Exams and Cecchetti Ballet Exams in June. To be on the Competitive Team, dancers are assessed in our Summer Competitive Intensive camps. We also can book private auditions for new students wishing to join.
