At many of the shops that dispense eyewear products, the eye exams are conducted by Opticians rather than by an Optometrist. At Visions Eyecare Centre all eye exams are conducted by an Optometrist. Optometrists are doctors, trained to examine your eye for health issues as well as to determine you prescription for glasses or contact lenses.

We also stock frames for kids, such as: TMX, Nano, Miraflex, Vera Bradley, and Jungle. For customers who need safety glasses for their workplace, we stock safety frames, and are members of the Safety Program.

Conventional plastic lenses are half the weight of glass lenses and can be tinted to almost any color and density. Plastic lenses are more easily scratched than glass but can have an optional scratch protection applied.
