For over 20 years, Holness and Small Law Group has successfully represented drivers, passengers, pedestrians, cyclists and motorcyclists with their injury claims against ICBC and other insurance companies. If you are driving a motor vehicle and you are involved in a collision with another motor vehicle, then it must be determined which driver was at fault (negligent).
Slip and fall injuries are governed by occupier liability laws. Property owners, tenants and occupiers are responsible for ensuring that their property is reasonably safe for people to use. If an injury occurs due to an unsafe condition on public and private property such as ice, snow, water, poor lighting, uneven surfaces and dangerous hazards, then the injured party may be entitled to compensation under the Occupier's Liability Act.
If the death of a loved one has resulted from the negligence of another person, certain family members such as a child, a spouse or a parent of the deceased may be entitled to claim compensation for wrongful death under the Family Compensation Act.

There are known risks to recreational activities, team sports and individual sports. I went to go see Jackie when I was desperate and also looking for good advice I was already hit with a pretty bad concussion from my car accident. A few months later my dog had passed and I was diagnosed type 2 diabetic caused from depression. I could barely stand, walk straight and I was slurring my words pretty consistently.
