Founders Caroline Augustin and Bee Songvilay started their first dance studio in Mississauga in 2003, driven by their love of dance and a desire to share this awesome activity with others. Not career dancers by training, they decided that if they were going to provide a dance service, it would have to be the strongest, most professional delivery of dance teaching.
So many clients have told us that taking dance lessons is something they've always wanted to do. Well, here's your chance. Come in and experience how easy it is to learn with great dance instructors who will put you at ease on your very first lesson. We want you to see how much fun our dance lessons can be so your first lesson is on us.
Dance lessons at Blueheel Dance Studio are not just about learning steps and patterns. They're about you, how you feel and how you learn. It's about getting over the nervousness and gaining the confidence to go out and have fun on the dance floor. Once you get started, you'll wonder why you didn't do this sooner.
We picked a first dance song and within hours, Bee (our instructor) listened to it and choreographed a dance that matched the lyrics and the layout of our venue. He even adapted our moves on the fly and was always accommodating to our schedules. It took a lot of work, but we were committed and Bee was with us every step of the way.

Blue Heel Dance studio is a wonderful place to learn ballroom. The instructors are professional, encouraging and they make learning ballroom effortless and fun! Classes are offered for every level and you can also get private lessons. I have enjoyed every minute I have spent with the instructors at Blue Heel.

Bee and Caroline are super approachable and really keep the fun aspect alive when it comes to dancing. They take the time to cater to your skill level (I've taken private and group lessons here) and my skill level has grown exponentially for a years worth of lessons. I won't stop taking lessons here and showing up for the social dance nights, super fun!

We had the pleasure of working with Bee and Coraline. Both are great teachers with their own unique teaching style. Over the course of a month they taught us how to present a professional looking dance for our special day.
I would highly recommend them as they care about their students and know how to make dancing easy.

We took dance lessons in preparation for our wedding, and got great reviews after the performance! Bee was an awesome teacher and accommodated our schedule during the hectic weeks leading up to the big day. In 2.5 weeks we learned our dance and couldn’t be happier with the result!

What a fabulous dance studio! Professional, fun environment. Great instruction - they are so good at explaining all aspects of the dances in a variety ways, so that I understood the how, what and why of the steps, patterns, frame, etc. I highly recommend them!

When I got married a few years back, I thought it would be a great idea for my future wife and I to choreograph our first dance. That being said, I knew nothing about dance but I knew how much my fiance would enjoy it. I have two left feet but our instructor was patient and made the experience fun. Our first dance went off without a hitch and I would highly recommend Caroline and the Blue Heel's instructors. I recall going in the studio stressed about wedding planning and leaving the studio after my lesson laughing and discussing how much fun we had.

Blueheel has an amazing atmosphere that was welcoming for beginners like my partner and me. We wanted to learn how to dance for an upcoming wedding and decided to do the private lessons. Our instructor Kalon was an incredibly patient and detail oriented teacher who was happy to go over old moves (no matter how many times we asked!) to make sure we were confident in our steps. We didn't expect to have so much fun while dancing, the time always flew by so quickly! We were also able to do some group lessons with Elsa which were also a blast! Thanks Blueheel for teaching us how to dance!

facility + washroom is very clean,
one whole wall is mirrored,
sound system is good with current playlist,
have taken cha cha, rumba lessons mostly thursday nights,
B the co owner instructor is very professional,
offering personal constructive instruction based on your own abilities + experience skill level, taking lessons here will make you a better dancer. each month they offer free drop-in friday practice theme dance nights.
this is a highly recommended dance studio.

As I'm lounging around and being a lazy bum, I figured I'd update reviews for a few businesses.
They used to be located in an industrial area and now are in the heart of Port Credit. There is free parking in the library lot and paid street parking.
With regards to the studio (been going here for a year), there is very little turnover in terms of the instructors so I assume that means they are treated well and happy or at least I hope so because these are some of the nicest people you'd ever meet. Sure, every gym/fitness place treats you well because they want your money, but

Awesome ballroom dance and cardio fusion experience! The instructor started from really basic footsteps. Slow and easy. Going back and forth just to make sure that everyone was at least on the same page. Adding steps as we went along and some choreography. It was real cool workout and engaging your core.
The place is neat and clean. Well lit for day and dim lit for night dance.
He staff are very friendly. The owner B was met with us after class and explained the different kinds of Ballroom dances.
Street parking is available and it's free after 5pm. Cool!
