Great food and baked goods. Debit went down while I was there they kept accepting customers which frustrated me because they would have their order and have no way to pay. They took down my girlfriend's credit card number on a piece of paper(after much unorganized scrambling) and continued to take everyone else's personal information on the same piece of paper allowing anyone to see her credit card number.
There was no offer of any type of compensation whether it be one cookie or a crumb for the half an hour I had to wait while my hot food got cold, they said this has happened before they should

I've haven't been there since the new owners took over and must say the bread isn't the same as before. They loafs aren't as substantial. It's almost like they changed the dough...and not for the better. The calabrese loaf is all air ! The white dinner / hamburger rolls are not the same. Again, they have no substance. Light and airy like commercial "no name" bread. Very disappointed and will be looking for another baker. The new owner seems nice though. But I don't think their expertise is Italian Deli / bakery. Perhaps they should change their focus to something they have experience with.

For years every Sunday we would stop by The Brick Oven to pick up buns and lunch meat for our family for the week. Since Rocco has sold the bakery the service and products selection has declining. * always run out of buns hours before they close * staff clean the slicers before close time and ignore customers standing to order deli meat. I was… standing there for approximately 5-10 minutes before I finally had to say excuse me can I order something.... their reply oh we cleaned the machines. I said well you sign say your open for another hour so I would like to order. They rolled their eyes

If you are looking for authentic pastries with real whipped cream/dairy products, this is NOT the place to shop. I came out with 7 pastries (napoleans, cannoli, portuguese tarts, eclairs) for under $20. When I asked if they desserts contained real whipped cream and ricotta, the answer was not 'no'. If you want the real deal, this not the place - keep shopping.

Authentic Italian bakery.... Everything about this place captivate me since the beginning !!! I could not resit the temptation to taste all the bread and the pastries. Since bonds, to croissants, corn bread, raisins bread, whole wheat bread and much.... MUCH more. All of the them ... just delicious. Ahhh and the staff.... amazing people !! The service is above excellent !! Highly recommended !! If I can put 100 starts... I will do it !!

Love having The Brick Oven just steps from my front door! Delicious, hot pizza on Friday nights and fresh bread for breakfast Saturday and Sunday morning - it doesn't get any better than that. The staff is always happy, helpful, and greets their regulars like family. Here's to many more great years!
