CFTP has specialized in martial arts since 1993 and has one of the most innovative programs in the nation. Alejandro Pereira established the CFTP with a considerable amount of hard work and dedication after discovering that Martial Arts gave him the balance he was missing in the areas of his life such as culture and education.
Master Alejandro Pereira developed the CFTP Taekwondo system many years ago. It is derived from traditional Taekwondo and includes sparring, form, weapons, one step sparring, and self defense techniques. CFTP Taekwondo is available to children and adults a like as it encompasses a wide variety of skills and training techniques tailored for each age group and class.
The Basic Program is our entry-level program for children and adults. We are a Black Belt Leadership school and what that means is that it is our goal for everyone to one day become a black belt. However, it is important to set a solid foundation before making that level of commitment. It is for this reason that we begin all younger students ages 6 and up and all adults in this program.
This program's mission is to build future leaders of Canada for a better tomorrow. The program includes White Belt - 2nd degree Black Belt Training Curriculum, Certified Rank Certificates, Leadership Life-skills, Weapons Training & Certification, Unlimited Class Attendance, Access To All Workshops, Access to All School Seminars, Accelerated Graduation (with instructors approval).
CFTP is a premium martial arts academy located in Etobicoke. We have been teaching for over 35 years and are committed to bringing the best martial arts training as well as family support to our clients and our communities. The best Taekwondo academy in Toronto is CFTP, not only because they have great instructors, but because they have a huge sense of family. They make sure that kids have an integral education in Taekwondo that also extends to life in general.
I would absolutely recommend these taekwondo classes to any parent that is involved and cares a lot about their childrens’ development.

We moved our son from another school within the vicinity because it had become a money making machine instead of Martial art school. Our experience at CFTP was very good from day one, starting from orientation up to the sign up. Place has ample parking around, inside facility is clean and organised.
Instructor to student ratio is always balanced to make sure proper teaching standards and every kids gets the attention they need.

My family have been with CFTP Family Taekwondo school for over 5 years now. The moment you meet both Masters, you feel you belong to the family. They care of each and every kid they trained. The coaching is not just a physical but the philosophy of living, including meditation, mindfulness, respect, courtesy, self-control! (I memorize the lines, since after end of every class the kids say it out loud). CFTP has a great and safe environment for child at any age. At this moment my 3 year old and 5 year old are participating twice a week in the after school program where they are being picked up from

Our five year old son started taekwondo in September 2019 in the CFTP after school program. This program only costs us a bit more than the traditional after school program at his school. He gets to train every day in addition to play/snack and homework time. He is attentive and I have noticed a difference in his discipline. Well as disciplined as a five year old boy can be...he has more confidence now too.
The physical training is great for him. By the time I pick him up after work he has had a good workout and he is ready to go home to eat, bathe, read and settle down to sleep.

My 6yo son has been coming 2x a week for the last 7 months... we weren’t sure if Taekwondo would be a good fit for him initially, but he really loves it! Masters Reni and Alejandro are very professional and the kids really like them. Highly recommend! Great location, lots of parking and many program options.

My daughter has been attending for the past two years since she was 4. She truly adores her Masters at CFTP. They have taught her to be confident, to stand up for herself and the meaning between right and wrong.
They are definitely the most dedicated teachers and they spend all their days and nights there!
Outside of the physical, its a program that teaches your kids core values which our grandparents and parents taught us.

My son has been attending CFTP for about 4 years, and he loves it. We've seen a great improvement in our son's attitude and self-confidence, plus he's doing better in school. I would have to thank the CFTP taekwondo school for this as they have a unique approach to teaching and creating order in their classes, which has definitely contributed to my son's advancements.
