Allegro Music
We are proud to provide a stellar musical experience for each customer backed by 50 years of teaching and product knowledge. The store has a lively vibe with a comfortable setting. You will always be greeted by friendly, dedicated staff who are professional musicians. We will take the time to chat with you and answer your questions.

You will feel confident that you've made the most informed decision about your musical needs. In the winter of 1971, an enterprising guitarist named Joe Gillon opened Allegro Music in the basement of our current location. He built two teaching rooms at the back of the Cavalier Barber Shop, taught some music lessons and rented out a few Yamaha guitars.

I am really glad with the service and professionalism of the staff at Allegro Music. Me and my family went there to get an assessment on what we wanted and the staff was fantastic at listening and assessing what we needed in terms of keyboards and guitars. We loved the experience and will continue making business with Allegro :)

Nice local music store. They have some cheap stuff and some overly priced stuff, especially the guitar strings. They have an excellent guitar selection for beginner guitarists but nothing special for intermediate and advanced guitarist looking for PRS's, Fender's or Gibson's etc. The music lessons here are very good and the staff knows their store well.

I came to look at the acoustic guitars that they have in stock. It was very dark inside the guitar storage. The owner just let me in and immediately left as if he did not want to speak to me. He even did not care to turn on the lights (saving on Hydro bills, I guess) leaving me wandering among the guitars in a semi-darkness. I had to test a few guitars in this twilight until I asked him to turn the lights on.
I bought two sets of acoustic strings. When I brought them home, it turned out one of them was tampered with - it appeared to have been open. Its back was mended with an invisible tape (very

Really nice guy, very friendly and helpful, good prices, nice selection, and happily referred me to other competing stores for products he didn't currently stock even though he could order them himself if I wanted!

Good Establishment. A small but friendly music store. Lots of accessories and sheet music. Some nice axes inside. They give lessons. The place has been there since the 1970's, and is still somewhat under-rated. You should check it out !

Really impressed with the rental program! Great way for people to try out an instrument (go to their website to read about it) but this completely worked out for us. Instead of investing $800+ on a saxophone, we are renting one for $35 a month to see if my husband is actually seriously about learning to play! We can also apply the monthly rental fee and buy out the sax if he chooses to or apply the money to a different instrument!

Good selection of popular sheet music too. I haven't touched the piano for 15+ years but walked out with some sheet music to play for fun.

Friendly staff

Great store. Friendly service with lots of variety! Took advantage of their yelp incentive for guitar strings, very convenient. I definitely recommend this store and will vainly return for future purchased.
