Music Wonderland is designed to provide children with an introduction to music in a positive and enjoyable atmosphere. Together with their parents, children experience singing, introductory keyboard activities, movement, and listening to music. Music Wonderland lays the foundation for a lifetime of enjoyable music making through these carefully planned activities.
Early childhood is the ideal time to start music lessons. At this age, the ear is at its peak of sensitivity. Learning music is as natural as learning to speak. Students can begin in the Music Wonderland (age 3, 4) or Primary (age 4, 5). The unique curriculum - up to seven years in length - is designed to give your child the best opportunity to develop basic music skills.

The facility is clean and very well organized. My son developed a great interest in music by learning Music Wonderland program and Junior Music 1 which motived him to learn piano, and he just got a First Class award in a piano contest. Miss Faye is super friendly, and Miss Vanessa is an amazing teacher. Thank you, Yamaha Music School!!

Yamaha Music School Markham is truly an incredible music school. My daughter has been attending the private piano and groups lessons for 6 years now. She has learned leaps and bounds in technical playing, musicality, composition of original pieces, music theory and many more.
The music school not only teaches children to love music and their instruments but really instills life skills as well. The teachers are top notch as they inspire the students to persevere, not give up and to be confident. My child loves all her teachers because they really invest in her to succeed in learning new music materials

I began going to Yamaha Music School at the age 7 and completed the Young Musician's Course three years afterword. I firmly believe that there is no better (and more enjoyable) place to take your child to dive in to the world of music.
After completing the group classes I moved on to taking private lessons where I focused on taking the royal conservatory's exams until I wanted to try a different instrument. Through Yamaha's curriculum I was able to develop not just my skills on the piano but as a musician and now, speaking as a professional the group lessons offered at Yamaha have helped me shape

"She enjoys music very much. Sometimes she uses her own words to change the lyrics of a familiar tune, such as Little Brother John. She is confident to sing some new songs, which she learnt from her music teacher, in front of her peers." This is a comment from my daughter's report card. I think her improvements and confidence comes from her weekly Yamaha music lesson. I highly recommend the Music Wonderland program for all 3-4 years old!

The Yamaha Method is awesome! I’m an adult with basic piano technique and just started to learn Guitar this year. It’s very fun to play along with the background music and other people in a group setting. The instructor is very experienced and patient. The lesson is well structured in a very balanced way, not overwhelming while I do feel I’m making decent progress.

My daughter started off not knowing how to play a single note to being able to play with two hands in less than a year. The first thing she does every morning is go to her piano and practice. Even though she is only 5 years old, she understands that the only way to get better is to practice. JMC1 and JMC2 requires parents to attend class with their children. This not only allows me to see what my daughter does in class but also to learn along with her.
One thing I like about Yamaha is that they give free preview lessons. My daughter’s two best friend tried the preview lesson and signed up right

I have been a Yamaha student for 3 years. It is a terrific school. The staffs who work here are helpful, warm, and professional. There are elite teachers here in Yamaha music school in various musical areas. The location of the school is extremely convenient. It is three minutes walking to the North York Centre subway station.
