Services
We take our reputation and professional obligations seriously and act only in your interests. We know you expect us to be honest about your case and you can always count on us for our frank opinion, even if it is not always what you were expecting.

Our exclusive focus on family law has allowed us to acquire experience in complex areas of family law, including international family issues, business valuations, custody and access assessments, and complex property and support issues. We appear in court on routine family matters on a weekly basis. We regularly update ourselves on developments in the law and attend and present at family law conferences in Ontario's East Region.
Having handled over a thousand family law files throughout her career, Allison has the know-how to assist you. No matter how complex your case, rest assured that Allison will have dealt with something similar in the past. Despite a very active litigation practice, Allison only recommends to her clients that they go to court when she believes it is absolutely necessary.
There are a wide variety of contracts in family law. The goal of these contracts is to ensure that, in the future, the agreement which is reached is adhered to by each party. This is accomplished with a formalized family contract where both parties are assisted by lawyers. In mediation, a neutral third party is hired by the parties to help them come to an agreement.
This is a one hour meeting to discuss your case, explore your legal options, plan next steps, and assess whether our services meet your needs. We also accept Legal Aid Certificates. To learn more about Legal Aid Ontario and for information about whether you're eligible, please visit their website at http://www.legalaid.on.ca/.
