Disputes over estate matters are another version of family law. Estate litigation usually involves close family members who are at odds over their differing treatment by parents and relatives. Estate cases are often stressful and emotionally draining.

If you intend to dispute a Will or a trust, have concerns about decisions that an executor or guardian is making, would like a review of decisions that have been made, are concerned about an elderly relative or friend, or are otherwise involved in any dispute involving an estate, it is critical for you to consult with an estate lawyer.Such disputes require guidance from experienced estate counsel.
Divorce and relationship break downs are life changing events. Questions you never thought you would have to face burst to the surface and sound the alarm for an uncertain future. How will you parent? Where will you live? Will you be able to continue to support yourself and your children? How will your assets and debt be divided?
We resolve legal problems of all kinds. We represent clients in the courts, before mediators, boards, tribunals and commissions. Dispute resolution is the heart of our practice. We work with our clients to identify their goals early on and develop strategies to achieve the best possible outcome. Whenever possible, we use our negotiation skills to achieve our client's desired outcome without going to court.
A government authority has the power to take land without the consent of an owner using powers that are set out in the Expropriations Act. It is common for a dispute to arise about the value of land that has been expropriated. It is also quite common for an expropriating authority to fight a claim for damages suffered by an owner or a business when there is an expropriation.

Wish there was an option to give -ve rating. My 30 min consultation with Paul Marshall lasted hardly 5 minute. He was rude, arrogant and was talking in a way to end the conversation in a flash. If you're not interested in referral service then why would you take it. Wasted my 30 min referral service opportunity. I would never recommend him to anyone.

I wish I could give him 0 stars. Worst lawyer to ever talk to. I was supposed to get a 30 min consultation but I felt like I got bullied for 3 mins and forced to get retainer and hourly fees. All other reviews on different sites are 100 % fake cuz they r just praising this bad mark on this profession and anyone with a little common sense could tell. Stay away from this person at all cost.

I was involved with putting together a complex real estate transaction recently and things did not go as planned from the financing side. Both Paul and Nick really stepped up to ensure that the deal got put through as expected on closing day. Their professionalism and competency really helped save the deal. Everyone involved was very impressed with the service level they provided.

I solicited Cassandra expertise in regard to an equine insurance claim. Her consultative approach was professional, detailed and most helpful. During that difficult time, she was extremely kind and able to put my mind at ease. Highly recommend.

Paul has gone above and beyond for me during a very confusing inheritance matter. We have come up against many road blocks which Paul seems to get around and through. Always communicates with me and keeps me ip to date even if its a small detail. I would recommend him to anyone looking for good quality representation. Thanks for all your help Paul!

We’ve bought two houses, sold two houses and had a family court action with Marshall-Kirewskie, and our experience has been very good for all. In one of our house deals, our financing had all kinds of issues, and Nick really went out of his way to make sure we closed in time. It surely wouldn’t have closed that day, had it not been for his efforts. Paul was very good in the family court action, in terms of understating our situation, negotiating with the opposing party and make sure the terms were well written for the court to make an order. We’re still enjoying the outcome years later. I
