Absolutely terrible customer service. Didn’t even get to meet the doctor. Front desk lady named Melanie had set me up for an appointment and when I showed up, she denies that she made an appointment. She raises her voice when i simply tried to figure out what had happened. I ended up proving her wrong and had to ask for her apologies and she still gave me an attitude as I walked out of that clinic.

Dr. Jack Hakoun is very professional and knowledgeable. His sport clinic is one of the best if not the best I have ever seen. He knows ins and outs of sport medicine and staff are there to help you. I had Tennis elbow a few years back which was mistreated somewhere else but with only 5-6 sessions of physiotherapy my elbow improved and I could function normally again. It was worth driving midtown from uptown. Thanks a lot Dr. Hakoun and all staff for your great job and caring you show to your patients.

The Toronto Sports Medicine Centre has been a positive experience for me.
I would note that, it is a welcoming Centre and that Dr. Jack Hakoun and his staff genuinely want to help you.
I found Dr. Hakoun to be extremely knowledgeable in regards to my knee injury. I am still working towards a full recovery, while utilizing their physiotherapy program with recommendations from Dr. Hakoun.
I would definitely recommend Dr. Hakoun and The Toronto Centre for Sports Medicine. My family doctor recommended him to me and I have found that my doctor only recommends specialists/practitioners he feels that

Prior to meeting Dr. Hakoun, I had met with two other sports medicine doctors and made little progress in 4 months of physiotherapy for carpal tunnel, tennis elbow, and golfer's elbow symptoms. Dr. Hakoun diagnosed the root cause of my symptoms as stemming from my upper thoracic spine, not from my elbow or wrist. My condition improved *SIGNIFICANTLY* after the first physiotherapy session following his treatment plan. Thank you Dr. Hakoun! As an aside, the secretary was very friendly and pleasant :)

I was referred to the clinic approximately 12 years ago by our family doctor, and have been seeing Dr. Hakoun and the physiotherapists whenever necessary ever since. During this period I have referred my sons as well as other family and friends.
We all agree that Dr. Hakoun is a great practitioner in that he is detail oriented, prudent and very caring.
Nick, as well as the other physiotherapists are also fantastic in that they just want you to feel better as soon as possible, and they do not try to inundate you with tons of costly sessions.
Overall this clinic is genuinely a caring place!

My son injured his knee - the doctor here insisted that he get a knee brace, MRI, extensive physiotherapy, etc. I felt pressured to get their knee brace even though we had our own. I was not told the price of the $150 knee brace until I was at the receptionist's desk. By the next day, my son had no pain and no need for this costly knee brace ... I later learned that they have a "no return" policy on knee braces. I'm not sure about the rest of their services as we did not return.
