Owing to an overwhelming number of patients visiting Medi Plus I to see our experienced doctors, we have opened Medi Plus II to better serve our patients and significantly reduce wait times.

Services
The Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan (AHCIP), provides Alberta residents with full coverage for medically necessary physician health services. Laboratory, radiological and other diagnostic procedures (including interpretation) to maintain health, prevent disease and help diagnose/treat any injury, illness or disability.
The Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan (AHCIP) does not cover all health care services. However, some services not covered by the AHCIP may be covered by other government sponsored or private supplementary health insurance. Contact Alberta Health Services about exceptions, or for information on immunizations, call Health Link at 811.
They provide patient-centered care that is respectful of and responsive to individual patient preferences, needs, and values, and ensuring that patient values guide all clinical decisions. Your appointment is not confirmed until you receive a communication from clinic either through Telephone call OR E-mail stating your confirmation. 2. We cannot assure you the time & date requested while booking an appointment online as online booking system is not integrated into our EMR. Time & Date are subject to availability in our EMR.
New patients may need to have medical files transferred from their previous physician's office. The patient must authorize the release of any medical files with the signing of a consent form. Contact your pharmacy. Your pharmacist may be able to fill the prescription or fax the physician to get an electronic prescription refill.

I have visited Medi Plus Clinic on different occasions in the past. The services I have received on all visits were exceptional. The front staff is very helpful and customer friendly. The team of Doctors at Medi Plus Clinic are very professional, empathetic, compassionate and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this clinic !! Keep the good work !!

Staff is very helpful, cooperative and they seem to be honest with their work. I needed a note for my work on an urgent basis and both staff and doctor acted promptly and helped me out. It is great that this clinic has a very proactive manager and she appears to be invested in everyone having satisfaction with their experience at this clinic I am very impressed by their team work. I have been a patient of Dr. Cheema for a few years now. He has always been kind, caring and detail oriented when he deals with my family. Dr. Cheema makes sure he is always up to date with his practice, he will always show research when he is making an important health decision for his patients. His appointment are quick, but always thorough. He is fantastic at follow up and he is also a Dr that works hard to make sure he does not miss anything in the care he is providing. We are very lucky to have him as our family physician. I highly recommend him and his clinic.

Me and my family we have started using this clinic as a walk-ins for our health related problems but now it is our permanent clinic to go every time. We have been going there for more than 11 years. Doctors and staff is very helpful. Specially Dr. Cheema is our family doctor. He is the most knowledgeable abt any kind of health issues and get us the answers right away. Plus my parents are very comfortable going there. Their health has been improved since, plus staff and Doctors help them to get their specialists appointments much efficiently with all the details.

I have been a patient at Medi Plus for a while and seeing Dr. Manraj Cheema. he is amazing with such wealth of knowledge. He is great at communicating any concerns or issues and provides with a solution at the same time! I feel very comfortable discussing my health concerns with him. Also, the staff has always been considerate to accommodate my appointments per my schedule. It is great to have such an amazing medical team by your side whom you can rely and trust completely.

The worst clinic in all of calgary.
We always get an appointment with a weeks gap, and the walk-in advertisement is just bulls s***.
We try our best to check-in 10 minutes before our appointment time, and we still have to wait for 40 minutes on average every single time.
I wish I knew of a better alternative, so that I'm free from this horrible place.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The only good thing about it is there's never a long wait... I wonder why...
So my boyfriend went here to get his medical form filled out for work. The "doctor" couldn't read the form properly and filled it out completely wrong. The form asks if the person can do certain tasks like lifting, squatting, reaching, etc. Check YES or NO, IF NO... check a box for how long (short term, long term, or permanent). The doctor didn't check yes or no instead she checked all the boxes for permanent (more than 365 days) instead of just checking

- Easy to find and accessible location with ample parking
Cons:
- The clinic is in a very poor condition, whether it is their waiting room, the chairs or their exam rooms. The exam rooms are so small and crampy with broken cabinet doors, open trash and just in a bad taste.
- Carry your own toilet paper. Yes, because they run out of it anytime and you will have to use paper towel. Imagine if you are asked to give an urine sample and they have no toilet paper. In fact there were not even 'feminine wipes' that need to be used for female patients before providing
