Oak Bay Medical Centre is a primary care medical clinic located in Oak Bay Plaza, in the southwest community of Oakridge. The Centre was founded in 2003 and has been serving the medical needs of Calgarians since. We offer personalized maternity care for our patients, and are committed to providing optimal care for both mom and baby.

We also offer a full-spectrum of Alberta Health insured services including general health services, preventative care, chronic disease management, routine examinations, family planning, psychological counselling, and more. Ingrown Toenail Treatment Report

An ingrown toenail occurs when the sides/corners of the toenails catch or undermine the skin around the toe. This can create swelling, pain, and redness at the side of the toe. The big toe is the most commonly affected. Having an ingrown toenail can significantly hamper quality of life and interfere with physical activity.

I have been going here ever since my husband and I found out we were expecting. We were young parents, and were worried of judgement but Dr. Salem made us feel so comfortable and prepared. He was there through every journey with us an such an amazing Doctor. Even at my labour he was by my side in the beginning while his shift was ending. This is a multi doctor practice and I've been going here for a couple of decades now. Large waiting area and you can almost always find someone to see you even if your main doctor is on vacation. Good coverage.

Extremely nice Folks at Oak Bay. Had IUD put in here and with no pre Gynecologic experiences I felt extremely comfortable and taken care of. My doctor was dr Salem and him and his assistant made the experience as best as possible!

Dr. Salem is a wonderful doctor. I've seen 2 others when he was away and they were great as well. Angie is always pleasant and helpful on the phone. I highly recommend this clinic.

Angie at reception went above and beyond, she is amazing! The patients and staff are very lucky to have her at Oak Bay Medical. Dr. Nicholls made my visit very comfortable. She saw me right before closing and stayed after hours to get me in last minute, and she did not rush the appointment! Thank you !! Highly recommend this clinic.

I moved to Oak Bay with Dr. Coppola. When he retired I transitioned to Dr. Sturgeon. She's just as fantastic as Dr. Coppola. She's compassionate and direct, as well as engaging. Very easy to talk to and she's thorough. The receptionists could definitely be friendlier on the phone, though. But, once you're in the office, they're actually quite nice.

- great clinic with some great doctors. Too bad mine isn't one of them and too bad the office politics does not allow me to change doctors within that clinic. I will be going elsewhere to find a good doctor.
