You can take private music lessons on piano, guitar, voice, violin, ukulele and drums at our convenient location at Guelph Street in Georgetown.
As we continue to rally together, we want to give a heartfelt thank you to all students who have elected to keep their music lessons going during this time. We empathize with the questions and concerns surrounding the next chapter, both as a small business and as residents of our community. The Academy of Music offers private Piano Lessons in Georgetown for children and adults of all ages. The Academy of Music offers private piano lessons for children age 4 and up or adults of all ages and levels from beginners, to intermediate & advanced. Children age 4 - 5 start in our Piano Classes for Young Beginners program.
Our fun and engaging piano program was specifically designed with the young beginner in mind. Students learn the fundamentals of music while at the same time learning how to play the piano. The "My First Piano Adventure" program incorporates elements of piano playing, reading, and writing in a way that is fun and accessible to early beginners.
If you are an adult looking for piano lessons in Georgetown you have come to the right place! The Academy of Music has taught hundreds of adults how to play the piano. Having worked with hundreds of adults in Georgetown and Oakville Ontario has taught us that adults have very different needs than children when it comes to learning the piano.

I am so glad and that I joined music of academy, Georgetown location .I would highly recommend it for anyone who wants to get a good understanding of music ,to join academy of music , cause of the experience I had with my amazing guitar teacher, Mike .
Mike is such a devoted , hard working , motivating , encouraging teacher and especially his patience towards his students is worth appreciating.Mike helped me learn guitar from the basic skills to understanding of guitar at a level where I feel so confident to play it .He made guitar learning so much fun and his techniques to teach were highly motivating

My son and daughter are taking piano lessons at the Academy.
I am very pleased with how they have progressed to date. Both teachers have done an excellent job at teaching the kids the theory and practical side of music but most importantly have made it fun for them to learn.
The kids enjoy and look forward to their lessons.

Great experience! My kids love learning both piano and guitar through the Academy of Music. The teachers are fantastic-very supportive and flexible. The environment is friendly and welcoming and definitely fosters learning. I am so happy to see their successful progression and to have them be part of the music community.

Our 7 year old daughter has been taking piano lessons with Mrs. Laurie for the past 6 months. I was very pleased to find that Academy of Music's teaching environment and instructor were appropriate for our daughter's age. As a parent with previous musical experience I found Mrs. Laurie's instructions engaging for my daughter with the right balance of theory and musical instruction. Mrs. Laurie has a positive attitude and extensive experience which allows her to adjust the lesson to suit the student's interests. Our daughter very much enjoys the lessons and we would both recommend Academy of Music
