In 1944, Joseph John Lippert had a family friend construct the first home on our segment of Pape Ave. In 1957, this home became the Lippert Music Centre we know and love today!. Joseph Lippert Jr., founder of Lippert Music Centre, spent most of his time travelling and teaching accordion in people's homes.

Not only is music theory a requirement to complete grade levels at the Royal Conservatory of Music, but it also enriches a student's understanding of the music they play and oftentimes leads to creative composition. This is a unique review as it goes for 2 generations! I was a former student of Mrs. Beard for many years. And she helped me to successfully complete my ARCT before heading off to university! What an accomplishment!! Of course, once I had 3 children of my own, there was no one else I wanted to entrust them to. And I made the weekly trek from Ajax to Pape/Danforth. She and her teachers assisted all of my children in not only passing their exams with first class honours but also placing in the top 3 in their performances at the Lippert Music Festivals in multiple years. The school I heard had a good reputation, because it's been there for some time, but unfortunately I had my two girls enrolled there, and I have to say, they learned more in public school, and no my kids have absolutely no learning disabilities, it's just that Lippert hires junior teachers that do not have little to no experience, and their teaching methods are not very good,. My one daughter had some younger girl that could barely speak English, and my little one could barely understand, and my older daughters teacher wasn't much better, the only time they learned anything, is when the actual

Outstanding music school! Both my kids were in lessons for years (and we also took advantage of the excellent summer school programming). The staff is professional and courteous and the teachers were carefully matched to my kids' learning style. I have great admiration for Mrs. Beard and all she takes on - her dedication and love of music inspired my daughter to continue her studies and she is now working toward a teaching role.
