When I started Firefly Music Lessons in 2006, I had a vision of providing families with in-home lessons. I wanted to make music lessons easy for students and their families by having our teachers travel to them. We have not looked back! Over the last four years, Firefly Music Lessons has grown from just two teachers to over twenty five.

Firefly teacher will have all the tools they need to conduct a proper lesson. Not all of these tools will be necessary for each lesson, but when it is necessary, the PROVEN teacher is prepared. Firefly teachers always show respect to the families and students that they teach. This means that the teacher is polite and friendly to the student as well as their family members, pets and anyone they encounter while teaching.

The piano has been a hub of musical inspiration within the home for centuries. Learning how to play piano is a right of passage that has been passed down from generation to generation. Whether you are a beginner piano student who is interested in persuing an RCM examination or a music buff who is interested in trying jazz piano lessons, learning to play the piano is a terrific way of understanding the foundations of all music.

My son is so happy to have Marta as his piano teacher. She's warm and professional and there's no mistaking her obvious passion to make learning joyful and help him do his very best. Firefly has made our lives so much simpler. It saves us from having to take several nights out of our busy week driving people to and from lessons.
