JONESco Real Estate Inc is an independent family owned company founded by Helen Jones in 1987. She was joined in 2006 by her son and business partner Roger Jones. Over the years, more real estate associates have joined the firm, and the area served has expanded from Greater Victoria (including Sooke and Sidney) to other parts of Vancouver Island.

Helen Jones has been a REALTOR since 1974. In 1992, recognizing the need for a tutor to be available for real estate students, she started tutoring UBC's Pre-Licensing course. The course material is taught thoroughly; each student who completes all the supplementary questions and practice exams that Helen provides is well prepared for the final exam.

Brian Emery was our agent the service he provided was 1st class very accommodating as we were coming from out of town. He supplied great support and if he didn't have an answer he quickly got it. I recently corresponded with Shirin and Nicholas from Jonesco about searching for my first home. I gave my price range, and specified that I was interested in properties with laminate flooring not in Colwood or Langford. They told me they would set up viewings for me that Sunday, so I set the day aside.
Sunday rolls around, and all the viewings are in Langford and/or have decrepit carpeting. I reminded them what I had specified, and told them I wasn't interested in any of the viewings. Nicholas told me I should have "realistic expectations". There is consistently 1-2 pages of listings on remax
