Abasa optical in Clayton Heights (Hillcrest Village Mall, Surrey B.C) was born out of love and passion for fashion and eye care. We are a family of opticians, consisting of five members which represent the name ABASA as each initial identifies us individually. Each family member played an important role in making Abasa Optical an experience with loving care and a whole lot of cool.
Dr. Rohit Sachdeva was born and raised in India and moved to Canada in 2002 and has lived here ever since. He attended Simon Fraser University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2009. Afterwards, he attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry where he earned his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2014.
Bellinger feels very strongly about designing eyewear - to Bellinger it is personal. Taking great pride in designing each frame and every collection that makes each face look its best. The woman at the front was so rude and unprofessional. She berated my son for forgetting his glasses and called him legally blind (he is not) to the point that she made my 10 year old son cry. She was also rude to the elderly man who had the appointment before ours.
They have changed the name from Abasa Optometry to Hillcrest Village Optometry. The old sign is still on the front of the building.
I will never go back here and strongly urge everyone else to not support this business.

Our family has been going to Abasa Optical since we moved to Surrey. We have always had such wonderful service and would recommend them to anyone. Their selection of glasses for adults and children is very age appropriate and stylish. Shirin has always been very accommodating and sweet every time we visit and very understanding when our glasses… have needed repair. My wife and I have been buying our glasses at Abasa for 6 years and we have gotten nothing short of excellent and attentive service. Shirin has always gone out of her way to help us with our selection of lenses and frames, to adjustments, adding accessories and minor fixes (my fault not anything to do with the frame or lens). Shirin and Abasa Optical are the friendliest, best optical store that we love going back to.

This is the best optical store. The prices are very good. You are treated not only professionally but like your the only client at the moment. None of the staff rush you. They are the absolutely the best in helping you select your glasses and contacts and Doctor Rohit is willing to do just about anything to make sure that not only happy with your glasses and that they comfortable but your contacts are comfortable as well. I have had nothing but the best experience and will continued to visit again.

The best place to go for your eye care! Angela and Shirin were awesome in helping me and my daughter select these awesome frames that I've never seen anywhere else. They have an amazing selection and never had such a thorough exam before as at Abasa-Dr Rohit was amazing and so patient with my daughter.
