Giant Bicycle Halifax is the only Giant branded store east of Montreal, and we opened our doors a way back in 2016. Just to be clear, we are not a corporate store. We are a locally owned and operated business, with an owner who has been participating in the bike business for over twenty years now, serving customers, working on bikes, and making honesty, personal relationships, and trust the foundation of our business.

Although we were just stopping in to put a deposit on on a Giant ARX 24 for our daughter, we ended up walking out with a new Liv Enchant 24 Disc. As soon as my daughter saw it, she fell in love. Zach helped us out and was ver informative. 100% we will be back. With such great service, and the reputation of Giant, how can we go wrong?

Overall I had a 5 star experience. I was on the verge of trying to buy a bike that likely would not have met my needs. As a business Giant Halifax was as best of an experience that I could ask for. They educated me of what would be best for me, what would last and what’s current in the biking world. They went through all the effort at their disposable to navigate an incredibly challenging sales environment. It’s obvious Giant cares a lot about their customers. After my very positive experience today I would highly recommend them to family and friends!

After hearing some questionable opinions about Giant Halifax I was a bit sceptical on purchasing a bike from there. I stopped by to have a quick look at a model I was interested in and was met by Evan at the front door. The store is big, bright and very well stocked. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and made the whole experience a very positive one. I highly recommend checking out Giant Halifax for any cycling equipment needs.

I purchased my 5th Giant bike from Barry Misener last year. It was the last one in Canada. Barry claimed that Giant's policy was to not ship an unassembled bike to another Giant dealer for final assembly, so I accepted that and flew from Hamilton to Halifax to fly it back. I realized after I had paid my deposit to not expect much help from Barry, and didn't receive any. Working with such a slim margin of customer care, he made me use an e-transfer because he was worried about "credit card theft" after I had paid a deposit with the card. Great staff, always helpful. I've gone to this shop a few times, usually in search of obscure small parts. The staff has always been quick to help, and expertly answered my questions. The parts I needed were always in stock due to Giant's parts commonality and reasonably priced. I've never bought a new bike from this shop, but the staff still treated me as a valued customer.

I had been looking at purchasing a road bike for sometime, but due to Covid-19, the stock levels across the city over the summer and fall were nearly gone.
I had done some research as to what would be a good… fit for a new rider and settled on the 2021 Contend AR2. I saw on the website the L frame was in stock.
I spoke to Guy on the phone who confirmed the stock levels and inquired about a time I would be down. I arrived the next day and was greeted by Zach. Zach showed me the bike, sized me on a ML frame vs a L, took time to explain some features and sizing tips. He was knowledgeable and

Stopped by Today to look for a bike, to my surprise they had a decent selection, I’ve been looking since summer of 2020. This was my second trip into the shop, both times Evan help me, and was helpful both times in, I bought a Talon 1, he fitted me with a great bike, and didn’t try to sell me on one that didn’t need. Staff was helpful and friendly. Great small local business, glad I bought a bike and supported them.

I had a great experience recently at Giant Halifax. After a frustrating experience at a different store trying to purchase a bike, Giant was fantastic. They helped me through email/phone purchase and secure a new mountain bike that would fit my needs during COVID-19, and put a deposit on one of a few they had coming in. (If you are reading this… down the road, a reminder that during Covid everyone needed a bike during this time!) Even during restrictions they sized me, explained everything to me, and provided friendly customer service. Would absolutely recommend. And love the new bike!

Recently bought a revolt 2 from Giant. the process was quite painless, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The process they have in place to deal with covid19 is fantastic, and the staff are all going… above and beyond during an amazingly busy time for them.
The owner went as far as responding to messages at 9pm on a Sunday to make sure things went through perfect for my new bike.
Very satisfied with me experience at Giant, over the moon happy with my revolt 2 (seriously, it's an amazing amount of bike at its price point).
Giant Halifax has earned a customer for life in me.

I recently purchased my 1st Giant bike from here. Everyone in the shop/store was great. Awesome experience from test ride to purchase. These guys know their bikes and are very willing to discuss tips and techniques with you. I will definitely be back here for any maintenance that I may need or just to stop by and chat.
