Peterborough Veterinary Services is a mixed animal practice that provides comprehensive services for all large and small animals. Animals admitted for elective surgery must have been vaccinated within the last year, and not less than three weeks prior to their admission. Payment is due when services are rendered.

We have been clients of PVS for over 10 years. We rescue pot bellied pigs and were looking for a hoof trimmer and general pig health and welfare service. Also, we went to them because they had both large and small animal experts. Our pigs are considered large animals.
Even though their have been personnel changes over the years, we have continued to experience the best professional care.
We have investigated other services. Nobody would take on potbellies. PVS did. We feel very fortunate to have the service close to us. Potbellies are a challenge and tough to transport. PVS makes house visits

I've been coming here for years. There isn't anywhere else that I would trust with my most beloved pets. They took great care during the deepest sorrow of losing a 17 year old companion. And they've helped with the transition of a wild new pup. I won't hesitate to call for their expertise, with a call back and quick chat to set my mind at ease. Emergency appointments are available, but make sure to schedule appointments far in advance, if possible; they are BUSY.

I simply cannot speak of this clinic more highly. Our dog was a patient at the clinic for years, and with a broken heart we had to have him out down for health reasons. The staff here were beyond kind, respectful, and accommodating. We felt so comfortable having our baby in their care during his last moments.
These people clearly love animals, and treat you with humanity and compassion. I will forever bring my pets here.

I have purchased scecial dietary foods from your location for 5 years. No I do not take my pets there. Because I never set up an account with you, I am unable to get my cats food from you because of COVID. 2 cats, special dietary foods for 5 years. I could even tell you where in the store exactly the product was.
I will find the product elsewhere and will not return and would NOT recommend anyone purchase from your retail operation.

We started here a year and a half ago when we adopted Jersey, after a full examination we found out she had heartworm. The staff and vets here have been amazing !!! Dr.Shaw is amazing and very patient with the… many questions we have had and taken amazing care of Jersey!!!!! We came here because they r vet approved by Golden Rescue but have now became our vet !! Thank you for everything you have done our girl Jersey and all your kindness ❤🐾❤🐾❤

My family has used the services of Peterborough Vet Services since I was a kid. Always took great care of our dogs. I carried on with them when I had my own dogs. From Dr. Brouwers to Dr. Dame, as Owners. They were all fabulous. Staff is great and caring. I recently went through my dog having heart failure and Dr. DeHaan was amazing. Sadly, I… recently had to euthanize my old girl, but the staff was amazing throughout the whole process. I love how they take care of the furparents as well as the furbabies. Highly recommend them. Their compassion is the best.
