I’m so disgusted with rice lake animal hospital. They are only out for your money!! My dog recently had an upset stomach because of his change of diet. I called the vet and asked what I could do and they prescribed him probiotics. I picked it up along with their very expensive dog food they told me to put him on (which was the reason his stomach was upset). My spouse and I decided to try pumpkin before using the probiotics and sure enough that helped! I asked the vet for a refund on the medication because I no longer required it and never even opened the package but they are refusing to refund

Our cat has been having some continuing health problems over the least year. We had exhausted a lot of options so we turned to Rice Lake as a last resort after a recommendation from a friend. Well, we were not disappointed. This is the first time in a year and a half that our cat is actually doing much better and her quality of live is improving. Thanks so much to everyone there.

Best vet in the area by far . We take all our animals there and have for years. Very careful in how they approach situations and will only do what's necessary to avoid high cost and stress to the animal .

I am slightly disappointed because I heard nothing but good things about this animal hospital...I called to see if I could get my girl in, not an emergency but could be problematic if left alone...I was very quickly told, "We are not taking anyone new! (just puppies and kittens)
I soon found out, every vet I called was pretty well saying the same thing. It was explained to me by another vet, it's due to COVID.
I'm not sure how COVID has anything to do with my 7 year old dog, but I suppose it's irrelevant.
With all that said, the girl I spoke to on the phone at this office was very kind.

You will be hard pressed to find another clinic that has more compassionate and caring staff than Rice Lake Animal Hospital. I have been going here since the day before they opened and have always been happy with the care my animals received... even when the outcome wasn't what we had hoped. My animals all deserve the very best and for sure they will always receive an exemplary level of care at Rice Lake that far exceeds the standards at other clinics. Thank you staff of Rice Lake Animal Hospital.... for who you are and all you do. With love and gratitude. ❤

This used to be a great place, we left to go to another vet because everytime we came in with one of our pets we had to recount the last visit or the animals history over and over again. Its like they never kept any records. As well it feels like an assembly line now with getting care for your pet. You have to hurriedly tell the vet whats going on because you feel like the vet only has so much time to spend with you. We initially went to this vet because of Ms. Gamblin and her use of alternative medicine but we would always be passed on to another vet. Susan was rarely there or able to take us

Gracie came into our lives 4 years ago as a rescue. We were new English bulldog owners so we took her to Rice Lake Animal Hospital where she was welcomed by Dr Gambling. Being familiar with the " bully" breeds she was very helpful in telling us what to look for in Gracie. We were very impressed. Soon after Dr Sutton took over Gracie's care. This last year Gracie's health begin to deteriorate and Dr Sutton was always there, compassionate and kind even calling after hours to see how she was doing. Finally on December 9,2019 she succomed to her many illnesses as old age finally caught up with her

Dr. Gambling and her staff are amazing people. They actually care about your pets. There is no rush during your appointment. They are all so helpful, caring and understanding. We have a large breed dog and after 5 other vets we will never go any where else. She was able to tell us more information in our first visit about our english mastiff then all of the other vets combined. Amazing people!
