Dr. Douglas Kibblewhite is British Columbia's leading plastic and reconstructive surgeon specializing in nose surgery. Dr. Kibblewhite is a board-certified Vancouver rhinoplasy surgeon specializing in nose job surgery. More patients seek out Dr. Kibblewhite for nose surgery than any other cosmetic facial surgeon in the region for three reasons: experience, expertise and trust.
Dr. Kibblewhite and his dedicated staff recognize that the decision to undergo facial comestic surgery is a highly personal one, often fraught with apprehension and anxiety. If you're considering having rhinoplasty surgery (nose surgery) or any other cosmetic facial surgical procedure, the most important thing you can do for yourself is be well informed.

Services
You could say noses are Dr Kibblewhite's passion. With some 15 years of medical training and two decades of private practice, he has become one of the leading rhinoplasty practitioners in Western Canada. He is often the first choice when peers and colleagues are looking to refer their patients for nose surgery.
Dr. Douglas Kibblewhite is a plastic and reconstruction surgeon specializing in nose surgery. He sees patients from across Western Canada for difficult nasal reconstructive problems. Which procedure is right for you depends on any number of factors: the shape of your nose to start with, what changes you want to make, whether or not you've had a prior operation, your budget and your time constraints, to name several.
In rhinoplasty - also known as nose shaping or "nose job" - the surgeon's primary objective is to provide a balanced, natural appearance between the nose and the other facial features. Overall, there are two basic types of procedures: closed rhinoplasty and open rhinoplasty. In closed rhinoplasty the surgeon enters the nose through the nostril.
By and large the procedures involved in facial reconstructive surgery are safe. However, as with any type of surgical procedure there are certain inherent risks, but the biggest risk is obtaining an end result that is acceptable to the surgeon and patient. Too often the portrayal of cosmetic surgery in popular culture simplifies the "nose job" or "tummy tuck" procedure.

Dr. Kibblewhite is great! His staff on the other hand... I was told I need a surgery for my deviated septum and Crocker internal structure, something about his former receptionist who forgot to fill out my forms the first time and I waited 2 -3 years. Now I have been on the waitlist for another 2 years. To sum it up it has been 5 years and I have no clue when my surgery is going to be. I am even on cancellation list since well over a year ago or so I have been told. I have been calling them for last 5 months. No one answers my calls, or calls me back, I have left several voice messages. I am stunned

I couldn’t of had a better experience, he was on time, explained everything extensively, listened to everything I said and gave me the option of my treatment plan. Very nice guy, easy to talk to, didn’t rush me whatsoever but at the same time was super quick. One of the best doctors I’ve seen, hands down

Avoid him at all costs is what I would tell anyone. My sister had a broken nose and could not breathe and he was supposed to fix it. She paid extra for cosmetics to make her nose look like it did beforehand.
Not only did her breathing get WORSE but her nose looks wider!! We found out that despite her paying extra for cosmetics, he placed two widening splits in her bridge and one of them much wider than the other. In addition to her breathing much worse, her nose wider from something we did not agree to despite her paying extra, he also botched the stitching. She tried reaching out for months and

It is no exaggeration to say, Dr Kibblewhite changed my life for the better. I suffered when sleeping and it was very easy for my nose to get stuffed up, which lead to other complications (headaches, sinusitis, swelling and more). For 15 years doctors would stuff antibiotics(!) down my throat. Dr Kibblewhite diagnosed me accurately with a deviated septum, and within months performed surgery to correct that. The results were in a matter of days I was able to breathe better. Now, 4 months after the surgery I am beyond exhilarated to have had the surgery. Thank you for helping me breathe and thanks

For parents who are referred here for their children's deviated septum, I suggest saving up and going somewhere else. My child STILL has trouble breathing, her nose is still crooked, she has a very visible scar where the incision was, and we have sent countless emails and have called and Dr. Kibblewhite has yet to get back to us. Looking into lawyers.

BAD EXPERIENCE!!!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! This Dr was supposed to fix a small issue & trim down a break with my husbands nose so he could wear glasses again. OMG, it's double the size. Did the opposite of what we agreed on.... Then was totally RUDE, wasting our ferry ride over to be told to go take a hike. He was actually upset at US that we were not happy and said "too bad, I'm not going to do anything. That's your problem now" We were TOTALLY blown away with his rudeness. I see we are not alone on this one... look at all these terrible reviews. I sure wish we had read them prior to going to see

For 20yrs I had a deviated septum from broken nose(s). Got the referral to this Dr. and 6 weeks out of the surgery I am supremely happy. I am an active person and 2 weeks after the surgery I went for my first run. I could breathe out of both nostrils. Still a bit painful but that is to be expected. As stated, I am now 6 weeks out and there is no pain when breathing through exercise. This has changed my life, for the better, and I couldn't be happier. This Dr. helped me and I am thankful for that.

Dr. Kibblewhite was very nice and accommodating opening the surgical centre on a closed day just for me so that I wouldn't have to wait for a later surgery date and have a cast on my birthday and vacation. I had a lot of naseua after the surgery and the staff stayed later to help me alleviate it before sending me home. They did a follow up call just to check up and I was back in the office after a week getting the cast removed. I was back to work on day 9 after surgery. I had a great experience
