Dr. Gelfant did my breast augmentation 12 years ago, his staff and the environment they create is one where. Breasts, in contrast to what our modern, consumer-driven society and culture are led to believe, are individual and infinitely varied in size, shape, and position. Our biologically driven, visceral brain, however, continue to attach meaning to what it sees, and youthful appearing breast form and volume equate to health in that calculus.
Dr. Benjamin Gelfant has long been a leader in the development & practice of minimum scar breast augmentation. Breast augmentation is a vastly superior operation to what it once was, and the "does she or doesn't she" outcome is far more likely now. Implants are superior and techniques are far more refined.
Breasts come in all sizes and shapes. Sometimes their shape is so different from what once was, you wish something could be done. And sometimes, your breasts have developed in very unusual ways. Breast re-shaping and breast lift is a complex matter. It requires skill and experience for an infinite number of small judgement calls for a satisfying final result.
Many patients come to me with problems from breast augmentation surgery they had done in the past. An original operation aimed to give patients confidence may have had the opposite result. Embarrassment & guilt about having had a "vanity" operation can make the process of returning for further surgery difficult.
Despite the great advances that have been achieved since the advent of Suction Lipoplasty, surgeons and patients are still unable to restore skin elasticity. When weight gain and loss, age, pregnancy and disease cause skin to be loose, more traditional surgical techniques must still be used to tighten skin and re-contour it to the underlying shape.

Receptionist was super rude to me. I sent a follow-up email a week ago, trying to confirm my appointment date and time after the first email I received from them (A week ago) - ‘with no information about my upcoming appointment’.
I finally got a response from them and got an email from them today, with my appointment time, saying I’m scheduled to come in, ‘also today’?! So with no previous warning, according to my records, they scheduled me in, without communicating to me that they scheduled me in. I emailed them back, stating that I was more or less unhappy with having to reschedule

Dr. Gelfant is absolutely, hands down the BEST surgeon.
I had went to see him twice, during a very rough time in my life. I was going through domestic violence and had very, very low self esteem. I share in my biography the reason why I initially had a surgery and I am proud to say he was my surgeon!
In fact I know I have referred well over 30+ clients to him and each one has the same sentiments. He is the best, they love him and would go back.
I am disheartened to read a few negative reviews; we as human beings are all different and have different genetic issues. Therefore we are not all going

So happy with the decision I made with Dr Gelfant for my BA surgery.
I knew I wanted surgery for a really long time, the researching time was probably the hardest but seeing how many great reviews Dr Gelfant had, it was easy when it came down to narrowing the doctors I would be seeing. I had booked 3 consultations & thought for sure I would be seeing them all prior to making a final decision, however after I met with his team, I knew that I would be in good hands. I had my surgery on June 4th, 2019 and I am a bit over two months now & I couldn't be happier. Love the results so far & can't wait

I could not be more pleased! At 65, I am here to encourage "women of a certain age" to consider an augmentation. It's never too late for beauty and Dr Gelfant is the best of the best. Dr. Gelfant is the most qualified surgeon in Vancouver, his past work and credentials speak to his competence. Dr.Geflant has the ideal bedside manner I was searching for in a surgeon and when I met Dr.Gelfant I knew he was the person I wanted to operate on me. Dr.Gelfant has honesty and integrity, he is a surgeon who puts his patients care first and isn’t afraid to say no when underlying medical concerns, unhealthy motivations or unrealistic expectations are obvious. When I went for my sizing for my mastopexy ( implants/lift) I knew I wanted to go big, and I picked a size that would not be best

I made an consultation and was surprised how quickly they got me in. No, quick doesn't mean that he is not as good or busy as other surgeons. He has a private practice and this is his main focus.

Hands down I would recommend Dr. Gelfant any day. He's extremely knowledgeable and is realistic about implant choices. I felt comfortable with my choice about choosing him as my surgeon. I went with a 500cc implant high profile and couldn't be any happier. His staff were warm and inviting as well as very helpful with any questions I had. He has made me feel the way I've wanted to feel about my appearance and I can't thank him enough.

I can't say any negative things about Dr. Gelfant. I heard of him through two of my coworkers who had already been operated by him for a breast augmentation, loved the results and had the urge to book a consultation. The staff were friendly, professional and accomodating from the get-go. Phone calls and emails were answered quickly. Dr. Gelfant was on time for both my consultation and post-op appointment. He answered all of my questions and concerns and proportioned my breast implants to fit my frame

After five botched breast augmentations and no other Dr wanting to touch me with a ten foot pole , Ben took on the assignment and gave me the most beautiful natural looking breasts I ever could have imagined!
The outcome was 2000 times better than I expected. He's very down to earth and very talented. I will be using only him in all my future procedures.
