Many people wonder what to expect during their teeth cleaning appointment with the dental hygienist. Implementation of soft tissue management (therapeutic procedures, teeth cleaning) which consists primarily of scaling, root planning and deplaquing, removing hard and soft deposits (plaque and tarter), of your teeth using hand or mechanical (ultrasonic) instruments.

With a thorough exam and by addressing your individual needs our dental professionals can help you achieve your brightest, healthiest smile in just under 2 hours.
In addition to basic maintenance services we also provide additional services which include pit and fissure sealants, needle free anesthesia and desensitization. The purpose of pit and fissure sealants is to prevent tooth decay. Needle free anesthesia is an often requested service especially for those who are nervous at the dentist and who really dislike needles.
Clinical observations have long suspected that Oral Health (gum disease) can have effects on your general health, as well as the reverse can also occur. Gum disease may be a risk factor for a number of serious health conditions such as heart disease and stroke, pneumonia and other respiratory diseases, diabetes and premature or low birth weight babies.

Such an awesome experience at Passion Dental Hygiene. A very friendly, pleasant & comfortable environment. All the staff made me feel at home. Rosa at the front desk is so sweet & the dentist Kaitlyn made my experience a great success. Laurel Ratko-Meier has been my hygienist for years. She is an amazing lady! Always pleasant, lots of fun stories & makes me feel so comfortable. She is the best hygienist I know. She provides the greatest deep cleaning & overall care. Seeing Laurel makes me look forward to going to the dentist 😁

I am so impressed with Passion Dental Hygiene! Their office is very modern, clean and safe during these difficult times. The best part of Passion Dental is getting your teeth cleaned by Laurel! She is so talented and amazing at what she does and actually personally cares about your teeth and your well being. Very rare to see such a dedicated professional! After experiencing my teeth cleaning with Laurel, I would never let anyone but Laurel clean my teeth. I would highly recommend Laurel!
