Westdale Dental Care is conveniently located near McMaster University. The office is located in a professional building, conveniently located just north of Main Street West providing easy access from the University and Westdale area. The office has a sophisticated and elegant decor complimented by full-length windows in the treatment rooms.
During your first visit, you can expect to meet our friendly and understanding staff. Please feel free to ask questions! If applicable, please make sure that you bring accurate dental insurance information with you so that we can efficiently process your dental claims for you. If you had x-rays taken within the last year, copies of these would be useful to bring to your appointment.

I used to have a 4 star review for this place because their hygienist was so great. But she is gone now and the new hygienist is really rough on your teeth. I actually really like dental cleanings and look forward to my yearly check in… but this wasn’t a good experience. My teeth still hurt after the cleaning since she used so much force to scrape my teeth. The hygienist’s nails also kept digging into my gums which hurt and was unpleasant. On top of it all she didn’t even floss my teeth. Call me weird for being so enthusiastic about dental cleanings, but this was a disappointing experience

This is by far the best dental clinic I’ve been to. The team is amazing and extremely professional. They’re very much organized so they’re always on time. And Dr Shoukat is a craftsman… the way he works and talks make you forget you’re at the dentist. I’ve never before met such a gentle and great person. With his soothing character, Dr Shoukat has forever eliminated my fear of visiting a dentist.

The wait time was very quick when I went in. I have been wanting my metal fillings out for awhile, and he removed it the same day I was there. I didn’t have to beg. The fillings he did came out looking very natural. The dentist did a really good job. Also was very honest. Another dentist told me I had 8 cavities I didn’t even have. This dentist told me I only had two. Good thing I switched dentists. I will be returning soon when I need a cleaning and anything else

Doctor Ali is the only dentist I trust. I tried going to other dental clinics and they were just about making money. This is not the case with this clinic. Here, they actually care about the patient. They take the time to explain the procedure to you and they don't begin until you feel 100% at ease. I had 4 wisdom teeth removed in total (2 separate occasions). Now I am good and have no more issues with my teeth. This is the only dentist I will go to.

Dr Ali I believe is the BEST in Hamilton, his international practice experience along with his Canadian experience make him the best. You name any procedure such as filling, Denture, Wisdom Tooth extraction to name a few Dr Ali is God's gifted professional. I highly recommend Dr Ali and his Team for all your Dental issues esp. I indicated above. To mention one more thing he did for me is that he waived one time 2 fillings because my insurance

I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Ali and his staff. Firstly, his staff are so lovely, responsive, and efficient. His secretary Jessica is amazing and answered all my questions and set up my appointments by text. Dr. Ali was able to fix a restorative issue that other dentists told me was "the best they could do" and completely changed my smile for the better. On top of that, I always felt like he, his hygienists, and his reception staff had my best interests at heart and took their time to make sure I had and knew everything I needed.
