Crescent Moving and Storage, originated in the small town of Crescent Beach - a quiet beach town nestled in the south west end of Surrey BC. Crescent Moving was founded in 1979 by former NHL Hockey Player, Larry Romanchych. Larry played professional hockey for over 10 years in the NHL for the Chicago Blackhawks and Atlanta Flames.
At the age of 29, Larry retired from professional hockey. Following his national hockey career Larry reinvented himself as a small business entrepreneur and founded Crescent Moving and Storage. Larry started his small moving company with one 5 ton truck that he himself would drive.

Crescent Moving & Storage offers semi to full-service corporate relocation and commercial moving packages for single and multi-office businesses within Surrey, Vancouver, the Fraser Valley and the Lower Mainland. Our certified moving consultants operate with over 40 years of office moving experience behind them.
This protection is the basic coverage that all moving companies should have. Every move we do automatically has this coverage at no additional charge. It gives you a limited amount of coverage which equals $.60 per pound per item. An example is that if your LCD TV is dropped and it is destroyed you will only receive $0.60 for every pound of the item.

This is the best moving company we have ever used. Booked a move on August 17th and Benjamin and Gabriel were the movers. Went above and beyond to ensure furniture was placed where we wanted it. Thanks to all who made the move successful. Would definitely refer to friends and anyone who is looking for a great moving company. Hopefully we won't be moving but would definitely use them again. Great job.

WOWSERS! I have been a realtor for 21 years and I would highly recommend this Company to any one making a move. Courteous, polite and highly efficient. Most movers hire transient laborers , Crescent Movers are trained professionals that if need be, can put an elephant in a bottle if required.

Worst moving company I’ve ever dealt with. Moved from ON to BC. My items went into storage for a few days and was transferred by Cresent to my new place. My king bed frame was broken and missing a support slat. The movers were argumentative and wouldn’t even attempt to put my bed together and basically left it in pieces on the floor. The mover told me he was busy and had another job so he wasn’t even going to attempt it. Other items were damaged as well as they were unloaded by cresent and then re-packaged.

I used Crescent Movers to relocate from Vancouver to Toronto. Before having my belongings picked up, I received excellent service. Once my belongings were picked up, it became hard to track them down. I was called for payment before I even received the ticket for how much my items weighed. I was also under the impression that they would handle my move all the way to Toronto, but it turns out they use a different moving company for that which I was not informed. Therefore when I needed information as to the whereabouts of my items, they were not able to tell me. Additionally, because they failed

We used Crescent Moving to move provinces and it was a great experience. From the estimate (which was very good), to both the departure and arrival, all staff were amazing and super professional, arrived on time, and were very fast. Definitely think about using this company if you need great movers!
