Full Pack & Move local moving services involve the packing of all of your smaller possessions into cartons, disassembly of items such as beds, dressers with mirrors, and the loading of these cartons and all of your possessions onto our moving vans.
We provide full service moving which includes, inventorying your items, blanket wrapping furnitute, loading the furniture onto our truck, driving the truck to your new home, unloading the truck and placing your items into the rooms of your choice. Our more comprehensive moving packages include packing, unpacking, long/short-term storage, and vehcile shipping.

I have now used Great Canadian Van Lines three times now for small and large moves. Each time Kathy Dorland in the head office has been wonderful. Her knowledge and patience for all my questions is exceptional. Taylor in dispatch was also very helpful with questions about packing certain items and kept me updated with information about the actual move. The actual movers were all professional, personable and kept me updated as they packed items I needed them to and when packing the truck. I hired Great Canadian Van Lines in summer 2020 during the pandemic to move my family's belongings from a 2bdrm/1bath condo in Edmonton to a residential garage in Toronto. We packed our own belongings. The services GCVL provided included loading boxes and furniture in the 5th floor condo, setting up freight transport for a vehicle, and unloading the shipment into a garage.
On both ends of the move, the movers were punctual, careful, and friendly. I did join the mover to the weighing scale for my own comfort. The final price was accurate to the estimate and reasonable (they aren't the cheapest

We moved from Ontario to Alberta and hired this company to handle our move. Amar and the moving team was punctual, caring of our contents and efficient in moving in and out. Focused team that gets the job done well. All our items were wrapped well with blankets. Communication was excellent, keeping us informed when our items will arrive. Will hire again when needed. My husband and I moved from Ontario to Saskatchewan in August. My son used the same company moving from Ontario to Manitoba earlier this year. Amar and his crew were very careful but very efficient. We could see they were taking care to ensure everything arrived at our new home in one piece. And it did. They unloaded everything and placed it where we asked. I would highly recommend this company. I had a perfect experience with GCVL. I compared dozens of companies, but they were eventually recommended by a family friend who has her own local moving company in Vancouver (but only does local moves). They were always very professional, quick to answer my emails and able to address any concerns I had. I was able to book them for the dates I needed, and the move was only a couple days long altogether. We had a two days window for delivery which was wonderful on my end in terms of organization. Items were packed carefully during pick up and all delivered without any damages recorded. I highly

Just this year I've used this moving company twice! I moved to BC from Ottawa, and back to Ottawa a few months later. I moved a one bedroom apartment including furniture. My friend had recommended Great Canadian Van Lines, and I thought I'd give them a shot.
