This is my go-to place when I have friends and family visiting me in Toronto. They have a good variety of items on their menu so there’s something for everyone, they also have a wide variety of pizza’s and pizza sauces.
But my personal favourite part about Victory is their outstanding drink menu, they always have a wide variety of good draft beers ranging from delicious fruity sours to hearty stouts and hoppy IPA’s. Their beers always pour fresh with good heads so you can tell they keep good maintenance on their taps.
They also have a decent selection of wine, although I am personally not

It was a cold nasty Monday night in January. With the recent government shutdown of indoor dining we were despairing of celebrating my partner's birthday with either grabbing Fresh to go from metro or ordering delivery. But we noticed Victory cafe was serving on their enclosed patio. As we hadn't yet eaten there and it was on our list we took the plunge. It was cool! We kept our coats on and the tea got cold but otherwise it was a uniquely memorable experience. We loved the scallops appetizer! I had the victory burger and M had the rib steak (it was his birthday treat after all). The light level

Had an amazing time there. Food and service was good. They have charcoal pizza and good kitchen staff.
Just as a heads up: would be nicer to appreciate both front staff and kitchen staff while leaving as kitchen is the heart of every restaurant and normally is not appreciated enough, verbally and financially! ;)

Loved their cozy interior and awesome beer list. Staff were very friendly and the pizza was top-notch, having a selection of white and red with vegetarian options. We got the spicy chicken and butcher pizzas, and had some left over to take home. Highly recommended!

Wasn’t expecting to find such a tasty Italian pizza in a bar ! Honestly never thought about it. Super tasty it reminds me of this market in Florence Italy …I give 5 *****and beyond. Thanks so much for the taste and the service. Great 👍🏽

Menu posted outside was no longer being used indoors for quite a while. Got my order wrong. Food was less than mediocre. Worst omelette I ever tasted, undercooked. Coffee terrible. Had to chase waitress for bill. 3 cooks did not wear masks and were in very close proximity to each other. Had to kill 2 wasps while I was dining indoors an uncomfortable meal

Short walk from Bathurst subway station on Bloor. Large patio with ample amount of seating and enough staff walking around that you do not have to wait too long. Went on a Friday night and even though this is not my first time here, this is my first experience having a sit down meal and drinks with a few buddies.
For a bar that has a ton of spirits stocked and even a pretty well curated whiskey selection, their cocktails and pours are awful. Tried their version of an old fashion, called The oldie. The menu said 2oz but the drink was hardly one with the amount of ice the put in. For $12 bucks it

Took a bike ride along Bloor on a hot Wednesday afternoon and decided to stop at Victory Cafe for a quick lunch. Absolutely thrilled at my choice. Thankfully I had the best weather you can ask for and sitting on the street side patio was perfect.
The food was excellent and delicious.
Saltimboca with steak sandwich !
Just half, is enough to get you going !
Will be back soon !

Type of place you can never go wrong going to. Anything you order is good, the vibe is positive with a lot of patio space, feels like your own space in the busy city. The food is exceptional 🤤😍 the prices make this an easy spot to order from often. Highly recommend!! takeout, delivery or pickup and/or dining in when it's available again 🌞

Never had a pizza I didn't like from this place! During this pandemic, I took advantage of their sweet takeout deal, and when the weather got warmer, I've sat on their patio on Howland Ave. Really great array of pizza toppings. Hope these guys make it through these strange times!

I guess the three stars were awarded by individuals who ate something other than the pizza. the good news? nice thin crust for those who like thin crust. the bad news? burnt on the bottom, which gave an unfortunate burnt flavor to the pizza. we manage to eat it by moving toppings from a slice onto a separate slice, thus helping to hide the burnt taste somewhat.

I had the fish and chips. Haddock with fries, ranch sauce and salad. The fries were a little bit over cooked but still tasty. The fish was excellent. Salad was ok.
The ambiance of this place is great. I was there in the afternoon and the place was empty when I arrived. Music is what you would expect from a trendy clothing store. I could tell that this place would get busy in the evening.
Server was great, and accommodated my mother's allergies really well.
Overall, I would come back again. But only if I was in the neighbourhood.

I was a huge fan of the Victory Cafe back when it was around the corner, but somehow I hadn't checked out their new location until now.

It's still great.

They've got a lot of cool beers on tap and the menu remains extensive. This time around, we decided to share a couple of things:

Victory Fries ("Hand-cut fries layered with mozzarella, slow cooked pulled pork, jalapeños, green onion and barbeque sauce"): I mean, how can I not order an item with a description like that? The dish did not disappoint. For one thing, it's enormous. We wound up not even finishing the

There is a long list of beers to choose from. Their lager, Mama's Long Legs, was more delicious than I was expecting.
My husband and I split the Victory Fries and a prosciutto pizza. The fries were amazing. They stayed so crispy even when piled high with pulled pork and bbq sauce. The pizza could've been a bit crispier, but the toppings were perfect.
Lots of seating and a lovely, warm escape from the winter weather.

Come for the beer. The flights are really really nice. They have a great side patio too in the summer.

Tried the margarita pizza, but it was more like a cheese pizza as it had the wrong type of cheese on it and way too much of it. Just meh. I always judge a pizza place on how they do the margarita pizza, because it's the most basic one and can't hide behind other toppings. Based on the margarita, I don't recommend their pizzas. The crust was decent though.

Also they've added a few vegan dishes since the last time I was here, but haven't had a chance to try them yet.

In my original update I predicted they'd grow out of their bad service growing pains and it turns out I was wrong. They let you seat yourself even when it's super busy so the wait staff have customers all over the restaurant instead of set sections which as a former waitress I can tell you is a recipe for disaster. They wait staff seemed disengaged. I guess the changed the pizza or something because it was sub par..I was disappointed. Don't come here if your primary want is food. Can't speak to the drinks.

Great beer selection. Good value.

While I was sorry to see Victory lose its old location, they have done the new place up nicely. Very woody and cosy. Tables are large picnic-bench style, so you may have to get cosy with strangers, Toronto!

I had the lamb special which for $21 was good value. My friends enjoyed veg burger and 1/2 chicken dinner also.

The beer selection is a wow. Lots on tap and in bottles, much of the local, small brewer, and foreign variety.

Server was excellent.

Great place for pizza lovers, especially picky ones like me. It was a nice surprise that they have white pizzas (yes, not everybody likes tomato sauce). My favourite is the Annex and the one with Prosciutto. Their Four Cheeses is also quite decent. The service used to be good, although the last few times I was in i it's been on decline, as if they started sharing tips or their AC broke down. Whatever the reason is, it doesn't really affect the experience that much so still recommended.

Great staff! Cute late night spot on bloor in the annex. They have a gorgeous patio and seating by the open window facing the street. Simple wine menu. I liked the Sangiovese Chianti. It was full bodied without the attack of the tannins which I appreciated.
Snack menu wasn't available since we got there at around 1130pm on a weekday. They had tons of beer on tap and an extensive drinks menu.
Recommend for a quick visit if you're in the area! :)

I havent written a review in some time but yesterday's dinner experience was below mediocre.

A beautiful sunny day and lots of spots on the patio at 6 pm so we decided to eat at their new location.

I had the Victory salad with the add-on of Flat Iron Steak. And my partner had one of the pizzas with bacon and sausage.

One word for both meals - disappointing.

Mine was especially bad as there was grit in the salad and I couldn't tell if it was because they did not wash the salad (Bibb lettuce and froissé) or from wind blowing dirt into my food. I think it was unwashed spring mix

I had some stout to start first, then I ordered seafood pizza. The pizza was cooked over fire which is different from other places and I like this better than oven baked pizzas. The only thing I didn't like was the waiter took a long time to get us checked out.

We loved the old location, but it seems the vibe and the decent food have not made the move with the rest of the business. We stopped here for brunch on a holiday Monday, and it was pretty lackluster. The food wasn't too bad, but chintzy portions and funny tasting sausages took away from our meals. My friend's mac n cheese was better, the salad on the side was a bit limp and sad.

The servers seemed to be doing their best but struggling to manage the brunch crowd. It took a while to get our order in. There are only tall bar-stool style chairs and tables, which is never that comfortable

I'm pretty disappointed to be honest. I was a regular at the old Victory Cafe for years and was cautiously excited about it's grand re-opening on Bloor. I knew it would't have the charm of a big sun-drenched patio anymore but I was still expecting something special.

Basically, if you've been to the Crafty Coyote across the street, you've been to the new Victory Cafe. The owners (who also own the aforementioned Crafty Coyote) have cloned the same bar and put it right across the street. I'm not sure why they did this but I can see cannibalization being an issue with
