You've come, eaten (also smiled) and moved on. We're a small part of your day but hopefully a memorable one. We are a family run business specializing in Belgian-Canadian comfort food. Many of our ingredients come from the local market and local farms. While our breakfast and lunches are legendary, our dinners are a more intimate affair with a seasonal menu that showcases some of our best family recipe specialties.
We look forward to seeing you again very soon! Le Petit Dejeuner is an eccentric all-day breakfast spot especially renowned for their Belgian waffles and eggs benny. This is thanks in large part to the Belgian heritage of owner and chef Johan Maes, along with his attention to detail in terms of his use of fresh ingredients, traditional equipment and house preparation methods.

Got here when they opened. Got coffee, ordered, served, coffee top up and bill within 45 mins without feeling rushed.
Only suggestion is have for them is disclose food items. My fried egg had onion in it (not mentioned) and I'm allergic. Luckily I didn't eat it but it was slightly off putting but would not stop me from coming here again.

This is a fantastic breakfast/brunch place. We used to live in the area, and would eat here often. Since we moved away, it's been a while but came here the other day and am happy to see their quality is just as great as ever. We always go for the waffle dishes, as they are among the best waffles you will get in the city. I went for the egg benedict + peameal bacon combo, while my wife went with the scrambled egg + onions and peppers. Both were delicious!

Decent meal.
Pricey (that's normal in Toronto)
Waitress was really really nice and wasn't her fault but asked for straws, never came. Asked for and extra little saucer of ketchup, never came. Sugar packages had been wet and clumped up the sugar.
For one of the "must try places for brunch in Toronto" and how boogie it seems it's really sort of dank (environment, utensils & cups)
That being said, I live right by here and have gone 10+ times and the PEOPLE are all really good people and very nice. Long lines and the food is always 6-8/10 so above average.
Somewhere inbetween recommending it to

Small cozy place. Poached eggs are excellent and runny just the way I like them 🤤. Their apple and pickle coleslaw is surprisingly good ! The portions are perfect and not to big to leave you with a bellyache. The staff was nice but in a rush. It's a little pricey for poached eggs but it's the only inconvienience, I paid 31.19$ with tips for bacon poached eggs and a moka.
