Create your very own bubble dance class! You get to choose the class size from 1 to 5 family/friends who have been in your safety bubble during this pandemic. You will get to pick your class time and dance genre. If you would like to combine two different genres, we can accommodate this. Each class is 45 minutes and we are running 8 week sessions.

Lauren Tasker is the proud owner of Ultimate Steps, which is located in Barrie. She offers after school programs for students aged 1.5 and Up focusing on Jazz, Acro, Lyrical, Ballet, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Mini Dance, Tap, Tumbling and Moms and Tots. She acquired her passion for the art of dance at a very young age participating in competitions around Ontario.
Jazz Is an energetic, fun, and sassy style of dance consisting of unique moves, big jumps, kicks and turns. It will help improve your technique, flexibility, and stamina. If you like dancing to the latest pop songs this class is for you. Ballet is the foundation and core of all dance styles. This classical form of dance helps develop posture, grace and strength.
This program is for the dancer who loves to dance and perform and wants to take their training to the ultimate level. Dancers will participate in competitions as well as performing at community events. Being a part of the competitive team promotes confidence, dedication, team building, self-discipline and long lasting friendships.
Ultimate Steps is thrilled to give elementary students a great in-school dance experience which is directly aligned with the Ontario Arts Curriculum. This program has been developed for Kindergarten to Grade 8 students. They will experience the fundamentals of dance while getting physical activity and having fun.
Ultimate Steps provides birthday parties for your child (3 and up) with a unique way to celebrate their special day with up to 10 of their friends. The 2 hour party will enjoy a 45-60 minute dance class in our spacious studio as well as 1 hour for cake and presents. At the end we will put on a performance for the parents!

This studio has a compassionate owner who loves dance and kids! She's extremely talented and her classes are so fun for the kids! I always see the kiddos SO excited for class and looking forward to their next class. The new location is absolutely gorgeous and I would recommend this studio to anyone. You will not be disappointed! What a great addition to the Barrie community.

For the past 2 years Lauren Tasker has helped me meet the expectations of the Grade 1 Dance Curriculum!! My classes have had the pleasure of learning various Jazz and Hip Hop routines with Lauren. She has a… natural ability to instruct students of varying ages and abilities! Lauren uses excellent strategies to help the students connect dance moves to everyday movements that they are comfortable with. It is a pleasure watching the kids work with Lauren...the smiles, laughs and rosy cheeks say it all!
