Great central location, and their free pickup and delivery is perfect for a busy schedule! Figured i would try someone new as was not in total confidence of last place that was a drop point and sent things out. Avalon Cleaners gives the customer 10 x the value that they have the right to expect- very rare these days.

Friendly, honest and genuine. Had my duvet and dress cleaned, as well as, a zipper replacement on pants. Dry cleaning done beautifully. Zipper change did not need to be done, I was using it wrong…lol. Regardless, he showed me why my zipper was not staying up and was so kind and non-judgemental about the whole thing. Lovely staff, genuine, funny. A lovely experience

I had my Nike down jacket cleaned here. My jacket got damaged (the feathers on the back are clumping together) due to dry cleaning. I went to the store, and they didn't account for the damage. They told me that my jacket has a defect with dry cleaning, so they are not responsible. I google and find that you can't dry-clean down jackets. Also, the tag on my jacket mentions Do Not Dry Clean. They were supposed to know this and choose the CORRECT method for the customer's cloth. But they dry-cleaned it anyway. When the fabric got damaged due to their mistake, they won't be taking any responsibility

Went in on a Wednesday, was told couldn't be guaranteed that my stuff would be ready until Monday. I'm all about local, but unless you have a week+, I'd simply advise you to take your business to any number of the other places in relatively close proximity that can clean your clothes in a reasonable amount of time.
Edit: Nice quick reply but also quite incorrect. Very much NOT a misunderstanding. The employee was VERY clear on this point. He told me because none of the work is done in house that there's a chance the garments might not make it back before the weekend and nothing could be guaranteed

On Thursday morning, I confirmed over the phone that they did same day service and again when I dropped off my suit. They committed to having it done by Friday at 5pm. First thing Saturday morning I went to pick it up, only to be told that it wouldn't be done until Monday. As I needed the suit on Sunday, that was unacceptable. However, Avalon did absolutely nothing to help me out. In the end I did get my dry cleaning done for free, but too little too late. I will not use their service again.

Never again!
Bought a groupon for this, and brought my shirts in to get cleaned here. Customer service was sub par, but thats not the worst part. One of my shirts was returned to me ripped in the arm. They denied responsibility and actually gave me a hard time, giving me the runaround and eventually even dishing insults. The owner refused to apologise which is all i actually asked for after the ordeal. He offered a $20 credit for all my time and inconvenience (and my $70 shirt) but i'll not return.

Exceptional experience! Avalon Cleaners gives the customer 10 x the value that they have the right to expect- very rare these days. My observation is that the employees think like owners so they are able and empowered to deliver the best guest experience. Greta service and value. Avalon Cleaners has a great legacy of craftsmanship! Strong recommend.
