Rebozos
Rebozos Taqueria is a family-owned business established in the City of Toronto. Indalecio Marroquin and his wife, Teresa Medina opened the restaurant at 126 Rogers Rd., five years after they moved to Canada from Mexico City in 1997. Indalecio, a professional accountant who always enjoyed preparing food, followed his passion for cooking the Mexican dishes that he and his wife had been missing after moving to Toronto.

Back then, real Mexican food was not easy to find, so Indalecio took it on his own hands to prepare dishes for friends at family gatherings, always receiving great feedback on the taste of his food. Since then, Indalecio has been preparing signature dishes of authentic Mexican cuisine to please the palates of everyone.

The birria tacos were absolutely divine! The tacos were fresh, had amazing texture, and were well seasoned. I practically inhaled them. 100% would get again!

Had some fantastic Birria tacos, with consome and freshly made guac. The Chef and owner here was friendly and clearly knows what he's doing in the kitchen. No issues here, if you're looking for great tacos, go here!

I'm not going to say it was horrible. But it wasn't good. There's a lot of hype on this place. I've been down to Mexico and had real food so I always have high hopes. This place's food ranks below Cleveland Ohio Mexican. First it's insanely over priced. $22 for 3 of the smallest birria tacos I've ever had. They were pretty basic just a very plain tortilla. The meat was about the best part of the meal. There was barely any cheese and the flavor was really lacking. I have no problem paying for good food. This was bad food for an outrageous price. Don't believe

I had them at the STC street eats. Tacos were flavourful and tasted good but the sauce was very let down. From all the pictures I was expecting it to be spicy and flavourful but acutely it was very bland and lacked any flavour. So make sure you set your expectation correctly or less you might end up being disappointed.

We were driving by on Rogers Road and just happens to see Rebozos Taqueria and decided to stop by. It was an excellent choice to do that! We were very surprised by the juiciness, flavours, and deliciousness of the tacos. Prices were fair. $11 for 3 tacos. We ordered 3 carnitas 3 cochinitas. All tacos were packed with flavours and very authentic tasting. Will be back again. Owner is very friendly and helpful. Thank you for creating such amazing delicious food!

Don't pre-judge this little spot on Rogers Rd near Corso Italia. Rebozos is about as authentic a Mexican food spot as you could hope for. We went for dinner one night last week on a whim reading that it's a must-try under the radar spot.

The dining room was closed so we went for take out and when the owner saw we were with our 18-month old he immediately let us have a seat in the dining room and served us dinner. It's a simple spot, no frills, but the focus is in the kitchen here.

I had an assortment of tacos, my wife a veggie burrito and the little one had a chicken Quesadilla

Another place I'd give 0 stars for if I could.
There's many places you could go for Mexican don't go here.
I ordered the most over priced meal I've ever had. Didn't even look like the picture. Instead of yellow rice I got plain white rice with zero taste and small portions.
Save yourself the disappointment and go anywhere else. Even a hotdog stand would be a step up.

This location of Rebozos makes amazing carnitas, for those who are familiar with Mexican food, you will know what I'm talking about.

I am not sure if the carnitas dish that I order, is on the menu. But you can be assured that if something exists in taco format, you can also order a plate of meat with side dishes and tortillas on the side.

Don't be afraid to ask and go off menu. You can put together a custom dish, so long as the ingredients exists somewhere on the menu.

Usually in Mexico, you only order tacos on the street. If you're sitting in a restaurant you would order a

The authenticity of the food is outstanding. The combination of flavours work well together and their hot sauce is amazing. That guacamole! Oh man that guacamole it's delicious. So fresh. The enchiladas was good, the portion size was perfect, not to much not to little. The tacos were seasoned well. Good portions, fairly priced, will definitely go back. Only down fall was the tortilla chips were infact Tostitos chips which kind of ruined the guacamole experience.

The most authentic Mexican restaurant in Toronto so far. Their tacos de carnitas are the real deal. However, their pozole could use shredded radish and real tortilla chips (tostadas) vs. Corn chips from a bag. The service, once the wait staff became aware I was there, was friendly, courteous and the food was served fairly fast. They were out of pastel de tres leches. Overall, as far as the authenticity of the food, they're great, but they could improve a few things. Prices are at par or better than at other Mexican restaurants in the city.

Possibly the worst Mexican restaurant in the city. Plain and simple. People please disregard what good things you've heard or seen on TV about this place. Simply horrible and overpriced. I walked away feeling ripped off and still hungry.

Me and my girlfriend both ordered a tortas (Mexican sandwich) each. She had the chicken and I had the pork. Up on the board it said $10 with a description and below it "your choice of meat."

This was the tiniest, most flavourless and stale sandwich I ever had in my life. Then when we got the bill I noticed the chicken tortas was $12 despite the

I was very excited finally i found real mexican food because I tried the tacos from the food truck in the cabbadge town fest and they were super good.
Today I came to the restaurant with my friends, we got enchiladas, beef torta and huarache.
So disapointing, the huarache was build with two tortillas, what is that? They supposed to make it fresh with masa. Why would you serve tacos?
Enchiladas were served with rice and beans, you could tell the beans were right out from the can, no flavor whatsoever, the rice was like days old and not flavorfull. Enchiladas made with bottle sauce, I could just

We tried their shrimp taco and vegetarian taco from their food truck at Evergreen Brick Works yesterday. Both the tacos were amazing. Freshly made with fresh ingredients and were absolutely delicious.

The shrimp taco had shrimps in chipotle sauce, garnished with onions and cilantro; topped with some chipotle mayo.
The vegetarian taco had black beans, mexican rice, onion, cilantro and fresh cheese on the top.

Do watch out for them in the next food truck festival. We surely will.

I went for the beef tongue tacos after the many great reviews. Unfortunately when I arrived they were no longer available on the menu. Instead, I tried the cochinita, pollo and carnita tacos. They were pretty good, but nothing special. Equal to many others in toronto.
The homemade hot sauces were delicious and the corn tortillas were also very good. Was hoping for a little more flavour kick in the meat but it was well cooked and moist. I still want to head over to the college st location and try the beef tongue.

Soooo disappointed
I saw this place featured on Taco Wars Toronto I went in to give it a try the next day.
I was wanting to try the winning dish featured on the show - beef tongue taco
I walk in and was immediately informed by the only staff there that it was her 1st day, she was alone and I would have to wait for the owner..... I asked how long & she did not know "but soon maybe"
Any other time I would have left after 5 minutes but the show *really* peeked my curiosity so I waited the 15 mins.

Owner lady comes in, I place my order only to be told there is none made. She says

Boyfriend and I were craving Mexican to celebrate Cinco today, and decided to check out this place, a short 10-15 minute drive from where we live. Things we loved:

1) The warm decor and it's location in a converted house make you feel like you're in someone's living room

2) The food is legit. Some dishes were better than others, but it's real authentic Mexican food, hard to come by in Toronto.

3) The service was fast and friendly

4) Portions were generous and prices reasonable.

I wish they had a liquor license, as a margarita or beer would have been nice to chase down

We just moved to a house that's a hop skip and a jump away from Rebozos. This may become a problem for me.

The food here is delicious and the service is very friendly. It's not the best Mexican food I've ever had, and the prices are a tiny bit higher than some other places, but it's still very good.

The guacamole appetizer is excellent, you run out of chips before you run out of guacamole. The carnitas tacos are delicious, fatty pieces of pork shoulder and the enchilada verdes meal is also very tasty.

The place is very casual and homey, it's a nice spot for a relaxed

GO POZOLE - GO POZOLE - GO POZOLE, GO!!!!!!

3.5 stars.

They have pozole here! And it's delicious. It's the first place I've seen it on a menu in Toronto. Pozole is a spicy stew with pulled pork meat simmered with dried maiz (which looks like giant kernels of corn). It comes with some round crispy tortillas, lettuce, veggies, extra spices and dried herbs that you add to the stew and mix in.

The Yelp party of 7 I was with stuck mostly to the tacos here, which looked okay but I'm glad I tried the pozole.

I would go back here if it wasn't located in the middle of nowhere
