Crowns are also known as a 'cap'. They are placed over top of a tooth to provide it with protection. The crown itself is used for a variety of reasons including restoration and cosmetic purposes. I highly recommend Dr. Paul Custoreri! He is very nice and skillful. I had two times root canal operations at downtown dental clinic. For the first time, he was on vacation and I could hardly suffer the pain, So another young male dentist operated on my tooth. I will never forget the torture I was suffering! Unfortunately, that was not the worst, because the tooth still produced pain and it was finally pulled out after two years. Luckily, Dr. Custoreri operated root canal for another tooth and I hardly felt any pain during the operation and now that tooth is still very healthy. I regret too much

Amazing service. All the staff from the receptionist to the dentist is going above and beyond for their clients. The hygienist that did my cleaning was gentle and efficient just as my dentist was. He also explains everything very well which gives you a feeling of trust and comfort. The place was recently renovated, it is super clean and welcoming. Only small thing I would say is to replace the styrofoam cups for more environmental friendly ones. (And eventually better coffee?) But you see, that's how great they are, only tiny side details otherwise they are top notch.

I have been a patient here for years. They are always on time, all staff are very friendly and exceptionally good at what they do. They use the very latest technology and there is no place I would rather go for dental work. Plus it is right on the subway line and there is a food court a few steps away.

I love my experience with this clinic. As usual I was scared on my first visit but there was no need. Everyone is excellent at explaining things before I take any decision.
Dr. Paul Custoreri is very knowledgeable and a super dentist! I would recommend him and his assistance to anyone I know!
Sheri, the dental hygienist did a superb job in cleaning my teeth. She made helpful suggestions for my problem areas I was missing when brushing.

It has been 8 years since I have been to a dentist. I'm a Canadian but lived in LA for 7 years. Now back in Toronto, I felt I had a tooth issue coming on. A friend recommended Downtown Dental, Dr Robert Feeley. I went and saw him and had X-Rays.Turned out I had one cavity. Just had the work done. Drilled and Fill in no time at all. Total pro at the craft. Never felt a thing. And next day. No side effects or pain in the tooth what so ever. I don't have a dental plan. Prices were very fair as well. I have found a new dentist. Very happy about this, and highly recommend Downtown Dental Centre and

Downtown Dental is a great clinic located in the Toronto Downtown Core, the staff members are very friendly and professional, always going out of their way to accommodate last minute appointments, Dr. Paul Custoreri and his assistant Leonela are the best! they have performed a number of (always painless) treatments that have significantly improved my overall oral health! Sheri is also an excellent dental hygienist! I recommend this place to my family and friends.

Quick and convenient, especially if you live/work/play in the neighbourhood. I often schedule my appointments during a lunch break and never wait long. All of the hygienists I've ever booked for cleaning were friendly, professional and skilled at their jobs. I haven't had to have any major dental work so haven't had much interaction with any of the dentists except for the 5 minutes at the end of the cleaning where they come to inspect your teeth.
All in all, highly recommended if you're already in this 'hood and looking for a lunch time quickie cleaning :)

I'm a dental avoider. I hate dentists. Hate may not be the right word. I'm terrified of dentists. I actually get teary while sitting in a dentist's chair cause I'm so worked up.
So I had avoided going to the dentist for years. When I finally worked up some nerve, I called a number of dental offices, and eventually booked an appointment with this one because the receptionist was warm, patient, and happy to give me as much information as I needed to get past some of my fear.
The clinic itself is big and busy. The layout is interesting; it's situated primarily underground
