Conveniently located in Oshawa, Ontario on the lower level of 650 King Street East, our plaza is on the north side of King Street and the south side of Bond Street between Harmony Road and Wilson Road. Our one-of-a-kind gym offers a safe, judgement-free environment to members concerned with improving their health and well-being.
Many diseases are linked to poor diet and a lack of exercise and it is possible to reduce the risk of these chronic diseases. A proper fitness and nutrition program helps prevent, and in many cases, reduces the risk of diabetes, high blood pressure, cholesterol, and osteoporosis. A metabolic rate represents the amount of energy needed to sustain your life daily. Even when resting or sleeping, muscle tissue is very active and requires up to 45 calories per pound per day.
Back in Balance Fitness and Nutrition is a unique weight management gym that offers customized nutrition programs along with specialized personal training. The nutrition programs are dietitian-designed and PhD-approved. It is not realistic to starve or begin extreme dieting for true fat loss. The newest fad diet may help you shed 20 pounds quickly, but it is never a lasting solution.
Physiotherapy is the study of how movement and function take place in the human body. Physiotherapists study the science of movement. They learn how to pinpoint an injury's root causes but can also provide education and advice for health promotion and injury prevention.

Jennifer became a Physiotherapist because she was passionate about helping other people and would like to inspire her patients to take control of their body and continue on the path of health and wellness.

Back in Balance is the place to go for weigh loss. Denise is super approachable, accessible, kind and knowledgeable. Denise makes sure to customize your diet plan according to your likes and needs. She always goes above and beyond to make sure are happy with you meal plan. She also provides easy and attainable recipes. She has an array of delicious… meals (all types, vegetarian, vegan, etc). I just finished my personal training sessions. I am a former runner and gym rat who broke their ankle earlier this year and was having trouble getting the athlete back. Denise was great in our first meeting. She really wanted to know my personal goals and asked great questions. I was paired with a great trainer Derek who really pushed my cardio and… mental blocks I had. We did mostly HIIT style training with weight lifting combo and it worked so well for me.
I highly recommend this place. I personal trained at another big chain gym, and here you leave no ridiculous deposit AND pay monthly
