We are committed to being lifetime guardians of sight, striving to enhance the quality of lives by providing excellence in patient-centered eye care. Linda joined our team in 2009 and became a Canadian Certified Optometric Assistant in 2011. She enjoys the challenges that she encounters as an Optometric Assistant, but mostly she enjoys the people she meets each day at the office.
Preventative eye examinations are recommended for children even if a problem has not been noticed. We have an extensive selection of eyewear including the latest styles in designer sunglasses and prescription eyeglasses. We have a full frame gallery for you to try on the latest styles. Add that to our excellent service and quality products and you will have eyewear that you love.

I can’t thank Dr. Merritt and all her staff (especially Shawn) enough.
Dr Merritt has gone above and beyond to make sure my daughter receives the care she needs. She makes time to listen and answer all my questions and is willing to fight for my daughter when it comes to seeing specialists in a timely manner. I’m so grateful I found an optometrist that is so knowledgeable and caring with her patients. Thank you Dr Merritt and staff 😊

Dr. Merritt rocks!!! She doesn't just "do" her job, she has a great sense of humor and is extremely good at explaining the wonders of your eyes to you. She knows her stuff !!! I have been seeing her for years and trust her totally. All of her staff are so welcoming and pleasant and are oh so helpful trying to find new frames to suit you when you can't really see. They are not "out for the sale" as other places are. This office is full of honest, professional, courteous, helpful friendly people who know what they're doing.

Dr. Merritt has been taking care of our young family from my son's first birthday. She's patient and understanding with children. I never have to wait long for my appointment either. Her staff is exceptional when it comes to client services; providing appointment reminders using various methods, helping choose new eyewear, and attending to broken glasses so quickly. I highly recommend visiting Dr. Merritt for your eye care.
