We are a full service optometrist office that can offer complete eye health and vision assessments. We use digital technologies to help diagnose and render a treatment course for any eye or vision related issue. We are efficient and professional, and offer competitive prices on all of our quality products.
In your examination, Dr. Hsiung will assess the health of your eyes and determine if there are any issues related specifically to your eyes such as cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration or if signs/symptoms are present due to systemic problems such as diabetes, hypertension, MS. Your vision will be assessed to determine if corrective eyewear or contact lenses are necessary to obtain optimum clarity of vision.
Every child should have an annual eye health and vision exam to ensure they are able to see the best that they can and to catch problems when they are easy to treat. The cost for this exam is covered under OHIP for children 19 years of age and under. Testing for younger children does not require the ability to read as there are other ways Dr. Hsiung can test their vision.
The vast majority of patients with low vision due to macular degeneration or other eye diseases can be helped to function with the use of an optical device. Even if you experience difficulty reading small print with your bi-focal lenses, you may benefit by using a low vision aid. Low vision aids are special lens systems designed to magnify or illuminate images to allow some increase in visual acuity.
We are proud to offer this new technology which allows instant viewing of the retina and optic nerve in great detail. This technology combines retinal photography with computerized imaging to examine and document the internal structures of the eye. This allows Dr. Hsiung a way to detect abnormal conditions that can lead to vision loss.

Went in today to get my glasses repaired after I accidentally dropped and broke them. Scott pulled me in within 15 minutes of calling in, replaced my glasses and I was on my way with clean, working glasses! 20 minutes! I had it done before work!
And of course a big shoutout to Dr hsiung whom I have been visiting for 6 years now. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

Absolutely amazing experience when I went here. I'm very happy with switching to these guys!! Donna is so kind and courteous, Scott is very knowledgeable and I never once felt pressured. Dr Hsiung is equally awesome. Very kind and to the point which I like! If I could give a 10 star I would! I simply had a great experience all around!

I attempted to use my 1 year replacement guarantee from Dr. Hsuing. Unfortunately his staff were evasive and unhelpful, even going so far as to hang up on me several times even after confirming I was eligible for the replacement. They absolutely refused to even hear my complaint. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
