About Us Report

Sensei Dan Nicholson started the Chilliwack Central Karate Club in 2004 at Central Elementary Community School. At the same time, he started the Cultus Lake Karate Club at Cultus Lake Elementary. The clubs grew by leaps and bounds over the first five years. To accommodate the growth, we opened our very own professional studio in August of 2009 on Rowat Avenue in downtown Chilliwack.

Faq Report

In fact, we require it. For kids, this is called their evaluation. During the evaluation, we will determine if your child is ready for the program. We want to see if your child is able to listen to the instructors well enough to benefit from the program. If your child passes the evaluation, then you will be allowed to enroll them.

Our Little Ninjas class for preschoolers and kindergarteners is a great way to introduce your little one to the benefit of martial arts training. Our program for school-aged children is our most popular one. Kids in this class will become stronger, fitter, more confident, develop discipline, and learn respect.

Little Ninjas Report

Our Little Ninjas class for preschoolers and kindergarteners is a great way to introduce your little one to the benefit of martial arts training. Students come once or twice a week for a 30-minute, action-packed class. Little Ninja classes focus on learning, self-discipline, listening, concentration and physical coordination.

Chilliwack Central Karate Club is the place to be if you are wanting your child or yourself to learn Karate. Sensei Dan is an excellent instructor as are the rest of the instructors here. My children have been coming here for three years now and absolutely love it.

I love this place so much. Since starting here 2 years ago, I've gotten so much stronger, both physically and emotionally. I feel a lot braver than before I started karate, and am more willing to take risks in all areas of my life. I love the instructors, I've made so many friends here, and this dojo feels like a second home to me.

My 5 year old Son has been attending Karate here for over a year and he LOVES it! The instructors are all amazing and the kids love Sensei Dan! He is awesome, so knowledgeable and makes karate such a fun memorable experience. My son can’t wait for karate class every week.

I have 2 kids that attend cckc, one is add and one is adhd both have excelled beyond my expectation and dramatically increased their ability to focus and complete tasks on command, great sensei that that connects with each student and genuinely has fun while teaching, great learning environment. highly recommend this dojo for anyone wanting to start learning or a great outlet for kids that might need a bit of help focusing or a self confidence boost, definitely 5 stars !

I've been a student here the majority of my life and, having seen Sensei Dan's instruction first hand, I can't recommend this club enough. He dedicates himself to each and every student and connects with them all personally. His ability to engage a class is nearly unparalleled, just like his sense of humour. Listen.... I put my daughter in karate for the reasons any parent would. Discipline, hard work, n to be cool of course.... All of a sudden she is really good at it, these instructors are super good at what they do, and it brought us together oddly. Such a great team and a stupendous place to bring your lil Ninja.
