Counselling has become increasingly beneficial in helping people to take stock of themselves and the situations in which they live, especially at difficult points in their lives. It can be relatively short term depending on how complex the problems you are experiencing, which, left unchecked, can lead to related mental and emotional disorders.

Originally intended as a small gathering in the organisers home, (Sharon Gallagher) the "Curry and a Chaat" as it is called by the Mental Health foundation, grew into an evening long event with around 80 people enjoying a fundraising supper and dance with entertainment from Manchester band Cassidy Stone.
