This morning my girlfriend had a 9am appointment for an oil change. At 930am the service department called to say that the air cabin filter needed replacing and it would be $99. She trusted that this was a good price and agreed. When I had found out about this at 10am it was to late to cancel. The air filter is a $15 part online (which the dealership probably gets at much less.) The installation is very simple and can be done by anyone in a few minutes DYI (open passenger side glove box) should actually be done as a courtesy and just make their profit on the filter upcharge. Wow is all I can say. Judging by my first service appointment here I have to warn you DO NOT buy a car here if it means you will be getting it serviced here. I had an appointment booked for 10:45am, confirmed that morning that I was booked for a 2 hr plus recall service, all good. I was 15 mins early, said I would be waiting there. Ok. After 3 hrs sitting there I overheard the gentleman next to me complaining after his appointment 3 hrs earlier his car was still outside. What ? I went and looked an behold my car was still where I parked it?

I get that everyone is struggling with consistent staffing right now but a courtesy call ahead of my appointment to set expectations and allow me to make arrangements would have gone a long way.
If the service department doesn't have time to make these calls why not have one of the many sales staff idling around the dealership make the calls?

I would like to share my honest experience so please do not delete my review like you have done elsewhere. I have never left a bad review for anyone, it's not in my nature... however this is unacceptable and needs to be addressed. If I could give 0 stars I would. Brought my car to Myers to get my Tucson serviced due to an engine failure cause of a recall. After getting it towed to this dealership, they couldn't find my keys, then they couldn't find my car. They refused to lend me a loaner vehicle for a problem that is not mine (recall) and told me to pay out of pocket if I wanted a courtesy car. Finish reading this post as I’m writing to deter people from a potentially negative experience. Beware, as they will put their profit before their relationship with loyal customers.
My husband bought himself a car here and today had to fix the knock sensor. After assessing the issue, they quoted an exorbitantly high price as compared to other highly esteemed mechanics in the area. So when we tried to cancel, they refused and claimed that they had already started the job and were almost done (untrue). They claimed they charged $150/hr and finished the job in 2 hours, but then charged for 4 hours

Day 5 after I bought my life’s first car: The driver side window got shattered into tiny while car sitting in the garage the whole night. The staff did not care to listen and I had to go to insurance where they told us after fixing it that it might not have been installed properly. The service center staff is not helpful at all that day. 1st oil change they filled my oil half empty upon complaining they it will rise up later and I had to come back the next day. 1 year after buying and tire change time where I got slots after calling many times:today is the heights that i came here for a tire

Fantastic service from Sales! I walked in wanting to look at a Hybrid Santa Fe and was lucky to have Joy Jacuk help me with my decision. She was easy to chat with and knew everything about the car. Thomas Mackay was our salesperson, he was knowledgeable and offered a very good sales experience without pressure. Fantastic customer service. Thomas made the process of buying a new vehicle quick and easy. We were able to work out a monthly payment that worked with our budget and, the final price was exactly as negotiated. We would highly recommend Thomas if you are looking to buy a new vehicle.

It’s unfortunate my last 2 visits to Myers’s Hyundia Kanata have been very disappointing, as I ve been a dedicated customer for 3 yrs to this Myers location. I booked tire change appt a week ago to arrive on the day of appt to be told there was a 3 hr wait. I called after 5hrs an got nothing but a run around for 15 minutes! Final I decided to just… pick up my car to be greeted with we’re now working on it and it shouldn’t take too long. Another hour an half waiting! It’s appalling that an 11am appt for seasonal tire change turned into 8 hrs later! Customer survey

Horrible service. Called them the day before to look at one of their used cars that my daughter wanted. Told them we were driving two hours in for our appointment the next day. When we get there for our appointment. The guy tells us it’s sold. We were there 30 min after it opened. And half hour before our appointment. Will never bring them service again. And if you are wanting to buy there. Do expect to get the car you were wanting.

Sales is adequate, Roy in finance was amazing. However the service department is the worst I have ever experienced. They upsell services that you don't need making it sound necessary. Also, I straight up asked why a new 2020 vehicle would need an oil change every 5000km. The last vehicle I had that needed an oil change that frequently was a 1999.… They stated that it was recommended by the manufacturer. Well, I finally looked in my manual and it is recommended every 12000km. So at 23000kms, I have had 3 oil changes and have only needed 1. Their service staff is condescending and treat me
